What is funny is that they made all these promises and none of them have come though. I could only image how many sony fanboys are angry with Nintendo for actully keeping their promises and how the PS3 is flopping so bad right now.
Sony made two big mistakes
1. The creation of the PSP. Nintendo owns the handheld industry with an iron fist and sony made the wrong move trying to out do them here. Nintendo has about 15 or so years of experience with the handheld industry sony only has 2 so they are greatly outnumbered and outmatched with Nintendo when it comes to this. If anything Nintendo knows its games and how they should be and mainly with the handhelds sony does not and that is why the PSP is doing real badly right now.
2. The motion sensing in the PS3 controller- The PS3 would have been better off without the motion sensing. A game console that tries to mix new motion control with standard control is not going to work. The 360 is dominating in Standard control and the wii made gaming control evolve for the first time in many years, the best part is that many of the old games from the past are still going to use standard control so Nintendo has not fully abandoned the past of standard control. I have super casltevaina 4 and gradius for my wii and they play as great as ever mainly with a GC controller.
Nintendo has also made many promises and they have fullfilled pretty much all of them.
1. Free online- yes
2. Full backwards compaitbily- yes with the GC and the past systems, the sega genisis makes it even better it is essentially 6 systems in one all of which had great games, I never even heard of the TG16 when it was announced but I may look into the games that comeout for it. The Games that I cannot wait for to come out on the virual console are Super Metroid, Kirby Super Star, SMRPG legend of the 7 stars, and paper Mario.
3. Online gaming- yes it is coming as soon as they can make it come
4. Great new and easy control for games-yes
Nintendo has made many promises and they have fullfilled a lot of them. Unlike sony.
Who knows Sony might ever have to stop making PS3s for America and make double for Europe because all they do here in America is sit on shelves all day!!!!

Actually, Sony did the same with their PS1 controller and it was fine. The motion sensing has no negatives and can only have the PS3 benefiting because obviously it does not have to be used. it is more of an extra but Nintendo fans will only say it is bad because it was stolen, which is true, and it’s Sony.
The motion sensing and seems to be fine in Fall of Man, which was a pretty good game. It wasn’t the best but it was good.
Now the Wii controller has had over half of its games but complete failures while on the other hand it did have some great games.
Far Cry on Wii was crap while on the 360 it was 1 of the top ten games of last year.

The 360 is not dominating, the PS2 is.
Yes the outdated PS2 is still dominating. It sold more than any console this past holiday season.
