How much will SSBB sell in it's first week?

Depends. Like first week worldwide or first week in a certain region.

Oh and a day. Well a day we wouldn’t be able to find a finite number to confirm it.

I think it actually has a good chance of outselling Halo 3 in it’s first day. Look at how good it did in Japan on it’s first day!

Hmm well we’ll never be able to find out if it will do it, as Nintendo doesn’t report on first day shipments in America or Europe.

But if I would take a guess of course we got 500k in Japan, I’d say about 1 million in America, and 500k in Europe/Other. So 2 million first day worldwide, and about 3 million first week.

But that’s all very very speculative, as I really have no idea how much Nintendo will actually ship.

According to VGChartz, Brawl has sold 1 million in its first week in Japan. Now that’s preliminary but normally they are in the ballpark with preliminary data.

We’ll see how well it does in the other 3 regions. Could possibly tackle down Halo 3’s opening week, which was 3.7 million. Pretty sure that was the strongest one in history.
