there are 2 spots in the wiimote top and bottem that give out a signal and the sensor bar with sensor recievors on each end pic up where those 2 spots are and shows it on screen.

in a visual way it finds 2 dots and has 2 eyes so it can see exactly where u are standing and how you are holding the wiimote.

its tht simple

I don’t think so, I think IGN dissected the Wiimote and explained how it worked, but I don’t remember reading anything about there being two sensors in it, they said the motion sensor is done by a gyro in the middle of the controller, or something like that.

Wrong.

The two sensors on the front measure how far the Wiimote is from the little thing you put on you’r tv (i forgot what it’s called).

The reason it needs two sensors is because with two it can sense in 3-d perfectly, thus giving it amazing motion sensing.

Down inside the wiimote are very small sliders that change when you turn the wii-mote at an angle, the slide, bump into a sensor, and the Wiimote sends a signal to the Wii telling it what to do using the third 'sensor'.

But this is still a complicated process, the Wiimote has a reaction time of 0.12 seconds.

A standard wired controller has a reaction time of 0.3 seconds, while a unwired standard controller has a reaction time of 0.11 seconds, right under the wiimote.
