We have a huge mirror opposite of the TV... will the mess it up?

it’s like this.

- = Window

[] = TV

* = Me

| = Mirror

— — -
|
[] * |

behind the tv? or behind you? if its behind the tv then you have a very big problem, if its behind you and the light shines in the room that shine can often reflect off objects and mess up the wiimote,

cus the wii does all the calculations not the wii, the sensor bar just sends out heat, and the wiimote records the pressures with the accelerometres, and can tell what way you are holding it

lol, it completely messed up my “Drawing”.

The TV faces me as i play, correct/ and behind me to my right slightly is a huge mirror, then facing forward to my right there is a huge open double window, then on the wall to the left there are pictures frames. (also known as glass)

So... my living room may be a wii’s worst nightmare?

mirror isnt a problem, infact you could turn around and play wii backwards with a mirror lol, the windows well get some curtains, and picture frames well i dont think they will be a problem, but i found doorknobs are a hazard and even my stereo which i didnt think had any reflective surface

your bullshiting you didnt set your wii and tv up outside to play, it would only work on a cloudy day, cus if you point the wiimote to the window you will see it pics up heat points and makes the cursor go mad. and also i understand exactly how the motion sensing works, and the “sensor bar” does not sense anything! it has 2 heat points that the wiimote picks up and the wiimote then calculates the distance etc with the distance between the two dots and it can tell what way you are holding it with the accelerometres which of course turns the finger, and if u have the sun or reflective surfaces it gets mixed up with them, i pointed the wiimote at 3 lights that were on and you could see on the screen perfectly well that it was picking them up, if you were to be outside in the sun the sensor bar would be too week and the tv would reflect heat and there are tons of hazards

It’ll be fine, I have lots of reflective glass in my basement and it works fine. Just make sure to centre the sensor properly and you will not have a problem, despite what people are saying.
