is it worth me paying 18$ to buy ocarina of time? i listened to the music on the game and it was so good i thought that maybe the game wont be such as bad as i might think when comparing to tp

No P. Moore, you shouldn’t get it. You’ll just be wasting your money on it. If you hated Twilight Princess then you’ll hate Ocarina of Time as well.
Thx for locking that other topic, it was kinda useless.
i think most new comers dont enjoy tp cus they dont know what to expect from the game. and of course you need to of played the other zelda games to be able to respect it right? so im not sure lol, oooo wat do i choose >.< what other VC game would you recomend then?
Your decision but I believe we’ve discussed this before. But ultimately your call. I mean all I can say is it’s not the highest rated game of all time for nothing.

I’m just being honest with you. The fact is that you don’t need to have played another Zelda game to appreciate Twilight Princess. It is it’s own standalone game, no prior Zelda needed. Ocarine of Time is basically the same as Twilight Princess except for a different story and fewer items. If you didn’t enjoy TP then you sure wouldn’t enjoy OoT because TP is really just an enhanced version of OoT.
As for other Virtual Console games, I can’t tell you. I don’t have many nor have I really looked at a lot of them.
Um technically TP is the direct sequel to OoT but not in a way you’d think for most games. AS this happens 100 years later. It would definetly help you understand a few things about TP cause TP is in many ways just like OoT. So in some ways it’ll definetly help you understand and in some ways it won’t. But understanding the chronological and entire series of Zelda is a very difficult one. More so than really any other series out there.

Yeah, no talks of illegal downloads are allowed. This is a warning.
Yea Ganondorf’s side would definetly be helped to be explained.
To kinda put it in perspective it would be like buying RE3 to help explain RE4. Sure you’d learn a little more about some of the characters and storyline but ultimately the game was new in many ways. Not so much as RE3 to RE4 but you get the point.
But as I said OoT is an amazing game in it’s own right.
