Is there a certain code to put in to reset your 360?

I got halo 3 and the campaign works fine, but the multiplayer maps dont work at all. When it loads the screen goes black and a disk read error comes up.

Now my disk is brand new, no a single scratch or anything. I went to gamestop and said that the hardware is probably not up to date, and said there is a reset code to help it.

Does anyone know this code?

Pretty much makes your 360 faster, deletes random segments of code, usually fixes glitches, like this, etc.

To do it, go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a message will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Are these downloadable maps or just maps from the CD?

Try playing the maps offline.

*the guys* 'im talking about are zeta, devon, silver, zucas and infernoand they are making fun and saying shit about halo 3

no its not the disk. I went to gamestop to change disks and the new one also has the disk read errors, but my friend next door has a 360 and it works really well on his but not mine.
