Jin Kazama (Tekken) VS Ryu (street Fighter)

wellll i think it would be close but i just see Jin pulling of the win.

I don’t see why you push You think Jin, in any form can defeat Apocalypse? I don’t think he can. And it’s proven that Ryu was equal with Apocalypse (or at least his hadouken was lethal to Apocalypse). And not to mention Onslaught?

So how can Jin defeat the guy who had defeated (or just say about equal) two Marvel badass?

Simple.Because what your using doesn’t count.Onslaught would kill Ryu if it was comic form.Think about it fighting games are made it to where everyone can beat everyone.Do you honestly believe Mr.Game and Watch from Super Smash Brothers can beat Ganondorf?

Jin cannot, I repeat, Jin CANNOT shoot down sky scrapers with his Eye-Laser. Firstly, that cgi scene wasn’t even canon to the storyline, because if it was, then LMAO. Because Lily and Hwoarang were pawning Devil Jin, and if that’s the case, then Ryu would ocv DJ like a carpet.

First and foremost, Ryu is extremely capable and severely underestimated in here. First off, Ryu’s Hadouken’s are firearm speed, yes, you heard me, Firearm speed. Dee Jay’s Max out in SF is over 681 MPH, while Guile’s Sonic Boom is so fast it hits Mach 2 speed, arguably the fastest projectile in the world of SF.

Ryu’s Hadouken is hard to gauge, simply because, we can’t gauge Light energy particles in real-life, however Gouki was shooting projectiles that were so fast that you couldn’t even see the projectile besides the impact craters that it would create.

This is canon, and Ryu’s projectile derives off the same properties, which is why projectiles in SF are firearm speed. So imagine Ryu shooting Hadouken’s or his Shinkuu-Hadouken, or his Metsu-Hadouken etc, etc...all of which are firearm speed...can Jin even keep up?

Ryu is also extremely powerful, he was seen lifting a gigantic boulder over his head while training. Assuming that this boulder is made of granite, it would have weighed around 8-9 tons in weight, clearly and indication that Ryu has super human strength.

Ryu’s reaction is super fast, Capcom has officially stated that Ryu is so fast, he can easily dodge bullets if they were fired at Ryu with ease. Now imagine that, you unload an entire clip on Ryu, and he’s dodging while moving towards you to own you up. Ryu’s reaction speed is insanely fast, and I’ve never seen Jin do anything remotely on this lvl of reaction within the canon of Tekken.

Jin has defeated some amazing opponents, Heihachi, Kazuya, True Ogre, and Jinpachi, however, three out of those four he had to utilize the power of Devil to do so. Only T. Ogre did he fight without falling completely into Devil dependency. Other then Teleport by T. Ogre, the rest do not have maginificent feats that would make them anymore amazing then the opponents Ryu fought.

Yes, they are all great in their standards, however the one contender that Ryu has confronted blows every single one of those opponents out of the water...Gouki a.k.a. Akuma.

Gouki is so powerful that he sunk an entire island by smashing his fist to the ground. While training he split an entire mountain into four separate pieces while smashing his fist to the ground. Gouki was also training in the depths of the ocean deeps and shredded a Navy Ship on top of the water into pieces when he was training.

Jin Kazama is arguably the most powerful character in the Tekken World (since he is now fully manifested with Devil). However Ryu is already so ridiculously powerful...yet Ryu has not even reached his full potential yet.

You just look at the feats, my say is this, the match up would be much more even if Jin goes Devil Jin, that would be the only chance Jin would have. In regular Jin form, he absolutely gets destroyed by Ryu.

Untrue, considering that Jin had to use the full fury of Devil in order to defeat Kazuya and Heihachi. Ryu utilizes none of these aspects, and is able to contend with opponents that Jin has never even touched.

Tekken having more power? You can’t be serious...in Street Fighter, there are Demi-Gods (Gill), and there are Goddesses (Ingrid). Then you have guys like Oro, who live to be 150 yrs old, and is so powerful, that he has to magically seal up one of his arms...because if he uses two, he is an absolute monster...in fact, he was so powerful, he beat Ryu using only one arm in the SFIII Tournament.

Gouki is so powerful, that when he fights other opponents, he doesn’t even unleash his full power unless he is fighting the absolute most powerful opponents.

Ingrid is a Goddess who skips across the clouds...yes you heard me...she skips across the clouds. She not only does that, but she can go through time as well, and to her, she even stated that being punched by a Street Fighter is like being tickled to her. Umm...Street Fighter’s in the SF World...have devastating punches...Balrog is one of the middle to low end of the characters in the SF world and he can easily kill an elephant with a punch.

Imagine someone like Gouki who can rip a mountain to four pieces, sink islands with his fist...and Ingrid says it’s like being tickled in her eyes.... Gill controls and wields Ice and Fire at will, and can Auto-Revive himself when he gets killed...who in the Tekken World can “auto-revive” themselves like he does?

Alpha 3 Bison was so powerful that during the Alpha Series he was arguably the most powerful character in the SF World at the time (Gouki didn’t become the true beast that he did until SFIII mind you). A3 Bison at his peak was telepathically controlling multiple people across the entire planet, while sucking the entire world of it’s negative energy to use as Psycho Power.

Now...I have yet to see anyone in the Tekken World doing feats this ridiculous, nor shooting fireballs that travel at firearm speed. I mean, Jin got struck down by bullets in the Tekken 3 ending, and that was canon.

Ryu can dodge bullets...so look at the differential right there already. Devil is the absolute most powerful entity within the Tekken World without a doubt, it has been proven, and even Devil would pail against the Super Elites of the SF World.

Ryu would be more then a match to Devil Jin, and he would completely mop the floor against Regular Jin. Even though the Tekken World is very fantasy like...the Street Fighter world is even more fantasy like...you have multiple characters teleporting, dodging bullets, spliting mountaints, sinking islands, wielding fire/ice at will, killing elephants with single punches, time traveling, seeing through the future, throwing out projectiles that travel at Mach 2.

It’s not comparable by far.
