Killzone 2, RE5 and The Conduit

Those are the three games I’ll be getting this Q1. Should keep me busy for a while. What do you guys think?

Killzone 2 is pretty much a must-buy for the PS3, RE5 because I loved RE4 and The Conduit because I want and need a good FPS on my Wii.

What about you guys, what are you getting?

I’ll definatly be getting Killzone 2 and I might get RE5. Idk about the Conduit though.

Killzone 2 looks beast. Resident Evil 5 is alright, I’ve been playing the demo and it’s above decent when playing single player. But Co-op is fun as hell. As for the Conduit, no comment.

Yea you should watch the new videos on IGN of the Conduit Nervin. I mean of course people aren’t going to rave over the graphics because its Wii, but the customization they have in the game is awesome. Not to mention the controls look great. Nothing better than a Wii shooter with perfect controls. Why MOHH2 was so great.

Yea its kinda sad that Wii is finally getting voice chat in games but it’s better than nothing.

It is.

But they need to just start a new online system and scrap the one they have right now.

Well Nintendo isn’t going to do that, but there is no requirement to have friend codes. It’s a “free market” online setup meaning friend codes, voice chat, any online infrastructure has been available to them on day one. Just 3rd parties didn’t want to create their own online setup, despite complete freedom. And of course Nintendo did create their own, but friend codes aren’t necessarily the best choice. Although with MK Wii they helped the ease of spreading them through messages sent to your console friends informing them.

But yea their online setup is very lacking but that’s only because no one wants to do it a better way to put it strongly.

I saw a game on X-Play i forget what its called, (can you help me out here Zucas?) but its on the Wii, its in black and white, pen and ink art style and is EXTERMLY violent.

Me wants.

Killzone 2 ftw...it seems there is no bad feedback for it yet, but its expected, well all know games of such a caliber get this sort of treatment no matter what...

ya see, im short of money and there are more games im into like web of shadows and prince of persia

RE5 is a definite. The others..hmm, not so much.

KZ2 and the Conduit have shown outstanding graphics, brilliant internet and KZ2 and RE have also shown amazing Co-op abilities.
but ive seen some trailers, it seems that its gonna be based on re4.
hell, after seeing a demo gameplay video, i can almost assure that the gameplay is the same.
the african zombies even do the same coreography than the ganados when both are shot in the head!
but its a must-play indeed

You would say K2 and Conduit are must buys? I’m sure they’ll be good shooters, but I think RE5 is on another level as far as saying a definite must buy.

Yea RE5 is on a much higher level than both of those. KZ2 and The Conduit are your average to above average shooters or the games that get middle to high 8s. They’ll be good for their respective bases but their no Goldeneye or Half Life. While RE5 is the Half-Life of its genre.
