PS2 sucked ass in every way except quantity of games
xbox had the best graphics almost 2 times as powerful as PS2.
Gamecube had many AAA games and the best controller.
This is all agree’d upon.

I liked the PS2, I thought it had a great game selection and I still play mine regularly.

Xbox was really mediocre for me, but still a good first try into the gaming world.

Gamecube still is my favorite, if not just for Smash Brothers and Zelda.

GC had a DVD version released japan only, plus the DVD ability in the PS2 breaks down very quickly.

ps2 dvd ability breaks down quickly? ive had my ps2 for at least 3 years now and the dvd player works like a dream, only thing i dont like is the fact that you cant change the aspect to 4:3, but then again the xbox doesnt come with dvd play out of the box so its equal.

Fact is most of the DVD playback will breakdown, happened to every launch system I have used.

Yeah pretty much, especially when it was hyped as THE DVD player back then.
Also, do you forget about the atrocious DRE on the PS2? That’s one example of the DVD-play back breaking

i’ve had no problems with my dvd player on my ps2, infact its quite good, other dvd players alone can stuff up if a disc is badly damaged and it stops completly, while my ps2 played the disc with a few hickups where the other dvd players stoped but it kept on playing!

dude my ps2 is better than my dvd player, wen a cd has scratches it always freezes but my ps2 plays it perfectly

dude ur the only guy ive heard someone say the ps2 dvd player breaks down, all my mates have a ps2 and all their ps2s work perfectly fine
