LINK VS CLOUD 2

Link can become invulnerable to damage for six days while also also having infinite magic. The reason he can pull this off is because OoT link and MM Link are in fact the same guy. Chateau Romani + Nayru’s Love and a Time Slow. It becomes a battle of attrition, wherein Link merely waits Cloud out. After six days, Cloud is likely to be too tired to keep up, unable to dodge the fire, ice, and light arrows Link is constantly shooting. If he gets close, a Din’s fire can make him back off.

If all else fails, the Fierce Deity mask could be used. If that doesn’t work, he’ll go back in Time.

MM Link rapes shit in this fight. MM+OoT is absolute rapestomp. Just OoT gets raped, and WW gets raped.

I personally can’t see Cloud winning this. He doesn’t over Link besides his reaction time and his materia. For this example I will use WW Link.

Strength: Cloud has this unless Link is using the bracelets.

speed: Cloud is not fast at all unless hes using Omnislash which doesn’t count. This Link is pretty quick. So Link

Agility: Cloud is nowhere near as agile as this Link. So Link

Skill: Cloud is a good swordsman, but hes not that great and can be sluggish at times. This Link however is a master Swordsman, and could take out a room full of skilled swordsman with no problems. So Link.

Magic: This is where Cloud shines. hes got buttloads of materia compared to this Link who doesn’t have much. So Cloud

Versitiliy: Cloud is very versitile with his swords, but this Link has so many items that he manipulates. So Link


Reaction time: This is where Cloud would give Link some trouble. Cloud is basically a bullet timer. Link doesn’t have anything in his arsenol thats that fast. So Cloud

Adaptive: This is possibly the reason why Link in general beats Cloud. Link in general is able to adapt to anything quickly.

Why is this in GAMES instead of the VS section?

I have been reading a lot of these boards but haven’t replied to any of them yet and I can’t go on without settling this.

To settle this dispute of Cloud and Link is very easy, you just have to look at all aspects of both fighters.
Let’s begin with 1st appearances: Regular NES Link vs PlayStation Cloud in FF7. Link literally can run circles around Cloud and you might say that Cloud does deliver more damage, Link can stand to the side of Cloud and attack bc Cloud can only attack those in front and behind. Link wins.
Next we upgrade into the best form of straight swordsmanship we have seen of the two fighters. Link is even given all other weapons not all items, all weapons; but no magic for anyone. Cloud hands down. You can argue the form of Link as Fierce Deity but the only problem is that requires magic. The battle between them would be pretty close. Remember Fierce Deity stands around 8 ft tall given that adult Link is 5-6ft. And his sword is much bigger than Clouds and wields it pretty well. He would put up a good fight. But we will give it to Cloud
Next we look at who would win with no holding back. And as powerful, strong, quick, agile and badass as Cloud is at fighting you cannot overlook the fact that Link has much more useful Magic at his disposal. Yes Cloud has some awesome summons, and the stop technique to freeze link in time but all I have to say is Romani Milk + Nayru’s Love. Link will never die. Not only that, but Link matches Cloud’s strength with the Gauntlets from OOT. He knows how to slow time, speed up time and go back in time maybe to kill Cloud when he was boy, IDK just saying. If that isn’t enough to convince you, how about this: At the end of Zelda 2 Link acquires all pieces of the TriForce. He is granted any wish he wants, although he does use it to wake up Zelda, he does have it in his repertoire. The power of the Goddesses in his hand: ANY WISH HE WANTS.
Yes Cloud is a better swordsman and is quicker but the point is that Link would win in everything but a no magic, no ocarina fight.
