As of E3, I really would like for Nintendo to hold Metroid 3d (or 4d lol) until teh next Wii
I think it would be best for teh series, if u’ve noticed when Metroid takes a break, it’s comeback is impressive (Super Metroid -> Metroid Prime)
Now as of Metroid 5, Intelligent Systems should make Metroid 5 (2.5d) for this Wii (imagine teh space OMG) and set it ten years after teh events on Fusion, and it can continue teh story of Samus' teh outlaw [perhaps she now aids teh GF again(dun dun!!)], and Retro could set teh next 3d(or 4d lol) trilogy, during those ten years and it tells us how Samus has been persecuted by teh Federation and wat she has done (duh); Both devs could add RPG elements to teh games, cuz now Samus can “talk” to ppl through Adam (an AI, not teh drug), teh pirates are now technically extinct and a “new” threat could be teh Kriken Empire, etc, etc.
Teh Metroid Universe can be expanded and a lot, it can be manipulated for good very easily, it’s like a salad, Metroid is teh lettuce and teh gameplay elements are teh ingredients, so many choices and so many dressings (terrible analogy, I know).
As of multiplayer, if Nintendo decides to use channels for each online game (Mario Kart Wii) and get rid of FCs (or pay to get rid of them eh?) a channel can be used for Metroid only, teh Galactic Federation War Channel.
Power ups and stuff can be “modified” so they dun look old and overused; many new power ups can be added like teh “power punch” teh nunchuck 2 (or watever) now detects when u force ur muscles, and how u swing it, so teh power punch activates and as much force u apply to ur musles Samus' arm will react teh same way (note this is just a way of saying how many things can be added)
We’ll just have to wait, a lot...
