The Character design in MKW looks like it was riped straight from the nintendo 64 iteation of the franchise and it makes me kinda mad that such a fun game looks so “lack-luster”! SSBB looks beautiful why the hell didn’t they take the time to make the characters look better than something from 2 generations ago... I know the wii is capable of so much more!
This is not to say the game isn’t fun, because it is very fun!
Nintendo did something right this time around in their wifi, you can add ppl to your FL without knowing their FC... all you have to do is choose to add them and then send this “invite” to them if they accept then they are added to your FL... much better than the other way, FUCK FCs!!

Really? I haven’t played it yet. Besides the graphics, how fun is the gameplay?

The gameplay is very good and the game is a lot of fun, also the online seems to be pretty seemless... I played last night and there was NO lag... it is so refreshing after the shit they took on SSBB’s online play!wink

SSBB is a keeper for sure. I should play some later. Anyway, Nintendo needs to learn to focus on both the gameplay and the graphics like they did for Brawl and Twilight Princess, then you will have a very good game.

Agreedsmiley... if they just wouldn’t be so damn greedy and put more time and effort into it, then maybe the graphics would match the gameplay. MKW is a keeper for sure, it’s just not as graphically defined as SSBB... although some of the karts and cycles looks pretty good *you can see what they spent the most time onwink

Pretty much so. Nintendo I think needs to start thinking out of the box on most of their games.

You know I’ve started looking forward to more 3rd party games than 1st party games on the wii... e.g. Conduit and Lost Winds and almost all the 3rd party wiiware titles. I want to know why the fuck the scrapped Project H.A.M.M.E.R.!?

Eh I don’t know either. And I have always wondered, what do you think it would be like if Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf were added to Mario Kart? Would it be better? I mean, they added Donkey Kong, why not them?

No lag? Well at least Ninty fixed that. Now if they could just get SSBB to not lag online...

I’ll agree that there is less lag on SSBB now, but it is still close to impossible to find a random fightsad
