I made this a while ago but I don’t know where it went and seeing as we have an influx of FF fans it may stay up longer. I say marth

I’d have to say Sephiroth, he is damn near immortal, Marth does have some mad skills, but unless Sephiroth has a lot of his power striped away, then I’m afraid Marth wouldn’t stand a chance.

one thing though is marth counter which deflects all attacks leaving the person open to a direct attack

Yes but if Sephiroth can survive being Stabed threw his back with a sword as big as the moon (exaggeration) the he should be able to survive one counter attack. Just like in the Cloud vs Link battle, Sephiroth would have to be stripped of all his Materia (if he has any) and not be allowed to use any of his special abilities (ie. Supernova) for Marth to stand a slight chance, and even then Sephroth was a very strong warrior, it took a cheap shot for Cloud to bring him down in Nibelheim, his overall abilties as a soldier would allow him to block or dodge almost any attacks, like he did with Zack in Last Order.

Well I guess your right in final fantasy theu equip the warriors with super powers which makes the game cool but fire emblem has regular people...except for the magic that are extremely skillled

I actually never had the oppurtunity to play Fire Emblem, all I know about Marth is what Is see in Super Smash Brothers. As I said if you took away all of Sephiroth’s special abilities Marth would have a better chance. I think that Sephiroth is just too powerful though, but as stated I have never seen how good Marth is... is he in any of the English games?

this isnt a post of whos stronger cause it’s dam obvious Sephiroth would toy with Marth’s mind. Sephiroth is on a different lvl than Marth.

I wouldn’t underestimate the legendary Falchion, that sword may give Marth the edge.I wonder how powerful it really is.Most legendary Fire Emblem weapons have enough power to slay enormus dragons or the Demon King.

The Muramasa or Murasame in the english version of Final Fantasy VII is said to be the most powerful sword ever made, According to legend, a Muramasa sword could cut a leaf flowing down a stream when held in the stream in the leaf’s path. The halves of the leaves were then said to float around the blade as if with a demonic aura. It has also been told that once drawn, a Muramasa blade has to draw blood before it can be returned to its scabbard. Thus, it is thought of as a demonic blade. Also in FF7 Sephiroth took downa dragon in two hits.

oh and just why am I a disgusting freak?

I think Marth could take down a dragon in one hit too, it would be a little difficult to kill a dragon in less then one hit right?
