Mass Effect is SO FUCKING HARD!!!!

I’m at that part where I have to kill that squidhead and at the end of the talking where she claims she’s all “possesed” she sends out a bunch more squidheads to kill me. THEY ARE SO FUCKING CHEAP!!! They’ll shoot out these things that sort of paralyze you through their hands and after you’re laying on the ground squipping all over the place they shoot you while you’re down. Then, if you actually dodge all the paralyzing thingies, you have a clear shot but they have this little shielding system that makes them invinsible for a rediculous amount of time! I’ve cranked the gameplay difficulty all the way down to casual and they’re still whooping my ass. I just want to break the game disk, but my friend’s letting me borrow it so I can’t.

If anyone actually made it past this part I’d be glad to know what cheat code you used.

I hate it when this happens. I keep trying and keep trying, and then maybe a month or so later a friend will come over and show me some obvious thing I overlooked and he’ll beat it in one try.

If I knew anything about the game.. I’d ask my friend for you.. Then again though.. I’m not even sure if he’s at that point or not. I bought him the game for Christmas.. So Iunno..

What they say makes perfect sense. Shoot them until they die. Duck Cover to prevent getting shot. Only problem is, they use their wonderful little telekinesis abilities to lift up the crates and get a good shot.

Yeah dude that was a hard part. I had to try quite a few times (it was late at night).

My party consisted of Ashley and Garrus (I’m a soldier). I equipped Ashley with a shotgun since the Asari commandos like to run up to you, and Garrus with an assault rifle to have some mid-range prowess.

It’s best to fall back to a corner and let the enemy come to you, never stay still, and use close range weapons. Killing the Matriarch herself wasn’t so difficult, but it’s best to deal with the weaker foes if any come close to her.

If you can, try rushing the Matriarch first thing, the second someone drops to half health, book it and heal. She will come to you, so feel free to throw a grenade and wait for her to step over it.

Well, you got yourself into a bit of a pickle. Hope you have some medi-gel...

Anyways it’s bedtime...

what i did was make myself so powerfull that she didn’t have a chance. i prettymuch walked through benizia on normal. since it’s probably to late for you to power up and get new weapons. i’ll advise you to use sabotage on the geth to keep the snipers from killing you, and focus on killing the asari. i hope you brought a tech spec with you. otherwise your in for a frustrating lesson in patients.

and if you can get to the opposite corner from where you started. it makes the enemy geth snipers ineffective and the assari commandos more visible and open for attacks.

okay, so you’ve already done that part. what you’re gunna have to do is focas on benizia (you and your team) i hope you blew up the explosive boxes behind you... this part should’t be that hard. kinda sounds like you ran in shooting and didn’t pay attention to your surroundings.

I’ve gotten all the other storyline planets done. I just need to kill Benezia.

The problem I have is that she stuns us immediatly, then stuns us repeatedly as soon as we can move again.

I think you’re supposed to get away.

good luck getting away? are you guys using your teams tech biotic and or weapons powers? that part just wasn’t that difficult.

I’m using both.

But I have the difficulty up >_>;

I want to beat it without making it easier.
