Why haven’t I heard about this? Apparently, Retro is putting all 3 games on one disc.

No that’s dumb. And they won’t have extreme Wii controls.

Eh... I have beaten the first two, own the first one, and got pretty far in 3...

And I probably won’t be able to get it with just $50.

I’ll pick it up soon, $50 for 3 great games on 1 disk, well with veteran difficulty at the start, hyper unlocked later, many achievements for unlocking the art work old and new, fusion suit, etc, the game should definity soak up a load of hours before games like H3:ODST arrive a month later. I am guessing that for the whole game pack, if you seek to play and collect every scan and powerup, it could take 20-40 hours for the whole game pack, double that if you plan on going through hyper mode as well.

yeah... that’s even worse than buying Guitar Hero Smash Hits. At least things LOOK different in that game.

Just my thought; I think you have played all of them before, possibly own all of them, and you are getting sucked into Nintendo’s gimmicky re-releasing crap that they’ve been cashing in on because they’re too lazy to just make another original title. The difference beween these re-releases and the old 3 titles is the annoying motion controls and 30 dollars.

IGN did estimate 80 hours worth of shooting, exploring, etc, this is a game pack just begging to be bought by people who missed the series or outright just love the metroid series, the prime series is just one I could play again and again.

And multiplayer from prime 2 is still there but it is said to be much better now that there is no lock-on for multiplayer. It could still be a fun thing to do when people come around.

If anyone missed the series they probably will find the dolphin emulator playing MP Roms a lot cheaper than buying it with messed up wii controls.

Yes, I said ROMS. Ban my ass.
