Metroid Prime vs. Halo

I somewhat prefer halo over metroid because in halo there is a lot of action at one time, in metroid there is what four enemies at a time....

I made this topic so that I can clarify all the confusion over the two games, ( i hear in other forums). Halo takes a whole lot more skill also. Especially on Heroic and legendary.

metroids puzzles though are good, and make you feel smart to figure it out, but I just prefer all the action on halo, than puzzles and the occasoinal enemy.

Metroid has always bored me... And you know this thread is going to be subjected to Nintendo fanboy posts....

no, i am not aware of that happening. Ok I did hear one time that Halo doesnt require skill and Metroid Prime does. That is BS in everyway.

Try playing Halo on legendary for the first time. You wont succeed, but with MP, you run around, enemies not strong just shooting and you trying to figure out simple puzzles.

I think he meant the original Metroid, which was indeed not a shooter. It was a side-scrolling adventure game.

I do know my genres and Nintendo clearly stated that it is NOT a shooter. It is a first person adventure game with shooter elements.

Too bad, Nintendo made it and they know what it is. They are right seeing how it lacks what a lot of shooters have.

well than most game websites are wrong. Nintendo made the game, so Nintendo knows more about it than most game websites.
