well IMO most sports orientated games do look more realistic.

Becasue they don’t have to program as many areas or the AI as much, also in the pic it looks pretty bad.

Also again it don’t matter if it looks realistic, it may play like shit and you may get 1000m air of a 2cm bump on the ground. probably won’t i’m just saying

True, ive played some georgeous looking games only to turn it off after half an hour cause the gameplay is so dismal i just cant be buggered once the novelty of the visuals have worn off.

well they were only shown for about 1 second in the game.

BTW in gears if you ever get the chance with the sniper rifle, just look at all the objects close up, they don’t loose any quality at all like in most games.

Those...really are not good graphics...it looks kile an XBOX game...and the resolution is really really low...not even close to GoW...

Motorstorm doesn’t look that great. It looks next-gen, but that’s about it.

GoW though, looks awesome in action. Screenshots reveal the flaw in polygon counts and textures. Even at that, still looks pretty kick ass.

But seriously, get higher resolution pictures so the jaggies aren’t all over the place...

I noticed that too, the background in the first one are good tho, but the face models are amazing.

ive played gears of war in HD (when i had to set it up) on an 720 p plasma tv and the faces dont luk that nice, in the game or even cinematics.

also motor storm isnt finished and the guys who have been playing it say the graphics surpase the trailer

Who fuckign cares about graphics for games haha. The fact of the matter is Motorstorm is supposed to be an action style racer and yet it is the slowest as hell racer I’ve ever played. Even slower than simulation racer. Gosh was so boring and frustrating. Hell I could go faster on a bike than that.

have u guys actually played motor storm on an HD tv? no! games like this luk way better on a tv when its uncompressed, games like gow for some reason luk worse in 720 p on tv cus it luks pixelated
