I don’t think it should be replaced, just taken down. I don’t think that any topic revolving around a single game should be stickied, unless it’s a fact sheet about the game or something along the lines of that.

i disagree. i think the lbp thread should replace it and we focus around one game for the period up to its release. then we chose a new game.

Yeah, I can see that. Like have a popular game be stickied until another one comes along? Sounds like a good idea. But make an 'Official Little Big Planet Thread' and sticky that, not the Beta thread.

I have added everyone with a full game of spore, which if I’m not mistaken consists entirely of me derdev and DS, to my buddy list in Spore.

So why was this taken out of the upper echelon list at the top of the thread page?

Because it was orignally stickied back when it was a information thread. Now we’ve decided to sticky current popluar games, which is why we put up LBP. Once LBP comes out we’ll put up a new popular game and the cycle will continue to repeat itself.
