Okay we all mainly know this is why people picked up the game, for the most part it is very fun and involving, much deeper then last time although IW could have kept some things Treyarch did.
For the most part the biggest flaws from the last 2 games, spawning and grenades.
Spawning is for the most part fixed, I still sometimes tend to respawn near the enemy that killed me or in the same place which is annoying, thank god for painkiller though, grants me an advantage to spawn killing pricks.
Grenade spam has been reduced even more, we now only have 1 at a time for the frag or semtex grenades, only getting them back from care packages or scavenger. COD4 had a lot of nade problems, WaW not so much, this one it is hard to determine the lobbing range vs the physics, but it seems fine for the most part. I have no troubles there.
Now for the kill streaks, COD4 had a killstreak overkill at times, WaW not so much, I have seen a bit of stuff like more then 1 chopper icon at once on the gps but I could not conclude if one was a care package one and the other was an attack one. But they seem balanced and efficent, the AT4 with 1 shot can instantly nail a UAV, the choppers can be locked onto but the heavier ones obviously need more damage to bring down. I have not really been able to determine if more then 1 related kill streak could be active at a time. The only kill streaks I have called in so far were:
UAV
Care Package
Anti-Uav-(from care package)
Preditor missle
Attack Heli-classic 7 kill one, only one I have so far
Pave low-(care package)
I like the preditor missle, a better form of the default airstrike from cod4. I do not remember if I got a title for shooting down or calling in a 7 kill attack chopper.
Weapon upgrading is even more fun then ever, I am actually motived to use grenade launchers to unlock a shotgun for my rifles. ACOG no longer increases range/decrease accuracy, silenced shotguns are nice as well. Bling is going to be your best friend when you want to unlock more attachments, 2 conditions can be killed with 1 perk, plus if you are working with stopping power and steady aim, this just helps you further.
IW sadly still cannot make a good reason for prestiege aside from replayaiblity, you gain no extra classes like in WaW, you just get another stinking emblem for your level and more titles and emblems, that is all. I already unlocked some cool titles like submit to authority or high caliber, I like those.
Plus IW could have done like treyarch and use a boot campl playlist, letting people only of certain levels like up to 8 or 12 play there to begin with. I find it annoying to be playing with people using the scrambler perk with a heartbeat sensor, they can find me but I can’t find them, oh so fair, I also wish IW just let us play the modes we want from the start, I just want to do CTF where deaths do not matter, I want to kill to earn stuff before going into the competivite deathmatch lists, that is what I did in WaW, sure it undermines the direct concept of the game but hey, I would be much more content if I was not paired with people level 40 and up while I am still only level 12 with jack and shit against these guys with a clear amount of experience, gear, and abilities.
