Go for the PS3. With the exclusives coming out, you will be able to get all the games. With the PC though, you would have to update it yearly to keep it up. Also, most games go to consoles and anyway from PC’s.
With the TV, you can use that for your 360 and PS3 and that will give you a real good gaming experience.

Not really.
But anyways I’d go for the PS3.
Won’t be getting good FPS on later games unless you already have the current $600/$500 card.
I’d just save it personally. If you already have a 360, then the PS3 can wait until later. Unless there is enough justifiable content on the PS3 to warrant the purchase.

No, I won’t need a car when my parents are more than willing to lend me their car if I pay for the gas I use, and Im making tons for my age... more then enough for university (which only costs about 1k to get into) and buy myself plenty of toys...
and what? what should I buy to get me somewhere? it’s been obvious for a year or so i’ll be doing something with computers for my career... i’m already in advanced PC classes at my school... what else should I do?

Get a good workstation then? That all depends on what type of computer stuff you’ll be doing.
If you’re doing graphics or even programming (although programming will require more CPU than GPU help) then a good workstation will suit you. They had an awesome one at Linux Fest that was around 4k, but damn, it was the shit.
And 1k to get into a university!? I wish mine was that low. Shit costs me 14k a year (granted, I got federal money out the ass).

Getting into it can only be about 1k, staying in it’s much higher, but not like spending 500 bucks about 6 or 7 years before I’m even at Univ will affect me...

You live in Canada, I see.
May be why there’s a difference in price.
And that is very true. Meh, I guess it wouldn’t hurt too bad.
But that all depends. What can you get on PS3 that you seriously want over a new PC?

well, MGS4, R2, LBP, KZ2, MAG, and heavy rain interest me, TBH I only want a good PC for RTS’s and bragging about how my PC can run crysis.
