New super mario wii details

The game is most likey going to be a great co-op experience.

It seems that is is combining the best aspects of the 1st, 3rd, and super mario world games, along with the throwing mechanic of 2.

The game is bringing back all the classic koopa kids along with Boswer jr as their leader and boswer himself.

The game has many powerups this time, both new and old.

Super Mushrooms, fire flowers, and the star return as always but now we see a few new tools along with some revamed old ones.

Propeller suit- allows you to jump higher and float for a short time

Penguin suit- allows you to slide and reach otherwise small areas you could normally only fit into if you were small or in danger of dying.

Frost flower- a returning one but it allows you to throw ice balls and freeze enemies, hurt fire based foes, and freeze water.

Hammer bros suit- not seen since mario bros 3, basiclly the same expect it allows you to attack in a wider shorter ranged arc with hammers then the standard path of the fire/ice balls you can throw.

Plus yoshi is in as well, everyone can ride a yoshi of different colors. Yohsi works the same way as he did in Super Mario world, you get hit he runs in panic and may fall down a pit or hit a wall and go the other way. He can flutter kick now like in yoshi’s story.

One of the best aspects of the game is the throwing system, you can pick each other up and throw each other to new heights, grab a partner’s legs who has the propeller suit for an airlift, or you could just be a douche and throw each other to enemies or down pits, plus you can also eat your friends with yoshi to use them as ammo or throw them out of harms way.

Me? Sounds like I will just get my friends and use them as my weapons.

It’s also important to tell people that this game is supposed to be really really difficult. There’s a lot of controversy over the “super guide” aspect that lets you see how some parts are done but this is only done so that people who aren’t as capable can simply have the ability to get further in the game.

I am glad that they are keeping it at its roots of being extremely difficult and making it even more difficult. Will keep the long time gamers going for awhile.

It does look cool. I’ll be playing it.

Why’d it take so long to come up with a co-op Mario game?

If it really is harder then that should be appealing, I am surpised to finally see boswer jr in with the koopa kids, no one really knew what happened to the other 7 when jr came in.

I just want the mega mushroom in so we can get a funny scramble for it and the one who gets it can force all other players to run.
