This would truely be groundbreaking and surprising to say the least if this would be true. Rumor has it that despite Manhunt 2 getting an AO rating Nintendo will go back on their policy and publish the first ever AO game on a console(aside from GTA: SA getting an AO rating after the M one). Better put would be the first time an AO game would be published deliberately on a console platform.
All of this starts as a rumor from Falafelkid’s site. Fro those who don’t know who he is, he has a lot of respect in the gaming world and has not only posted numerous rumors but most of them have turn out true. He has a lot of credibility. Here’s what he said in a comment on one of his posts recently:
I have contact to someone who claims to work for NOA in Redmond. That person has told me in confidence that a memo was circulated about two weeks ago about Nintendo publishing ´Manhunt 2´ despite the AO rating.
I have been seeking to verify this with my sources at Take 2 and Rockstar. Also, I have asked for the memo to be forwarded to me. I am still busy on those two fronts, so please bear with me until I get more detail and can actually write a proper post.
Let me just close by saying that I do regard the source as reasonably reliable, while I simply cannot believe that Nintendo would ever consider such a move.
If anyone but Falfelkid said this I’d probably just throw this off as bullshit. But becuase he said it you may just have to think about it a little more.
Now take this as 100% rumor and don’t jumpstart anything until either confirmed or denied. As even Falfelkid, despite getting the scoop, says he’s even surprised if this will turn out true.
Do note if this by some wild chance does happen there most likely will be an M version released as well. This possibly could just be the director’s cut version to only be sold online or something like that as most retailers won’t carry AO games.
So keep your fingers crossed and we’ll see if this turns out true. Definetly would be a strong stance for Nintendo getting their false kiddy image away cause no console in gaming history has ever licensed an AO game.
It definetly would but remember 100% Rumor. And the only reason I do give it a chance is becuase Falafelkid is reliable. I would never post any other crazy rumor in its own topic like this unless it was by someone credible like Falafelkd.
I wish it would happen, but I doubt it happens, its not like Nintendo to do this kind of things, unless ofcourse they are forcing a change in the game itself taking out certain content so the game comes ut as Mature (M) instead.

If I and most people dont know him that shows exactly how much credibility he has
how do you know most people don’t know about him? its been my experience that you don’t know about that many places. for example, for a while you claimed joystick was small and unreliable.
