Long ago there were 3 great mages. Nikola Culpa, Tylar Peth, and David Dhaos. In the beginning, they came together to form a trio devoted to one thing, transcending humanity. After years of searching, finally they accomplished this, gaining immortality and forming The Brotherhood of Angels. With this, came titles. Culpa, Angel of Comfort, Death, and Knowledge. Peth, Angel of Darkness and Destruction. And Dhaos, Angel of Music and Fire. Many feared their power. Many fell under them. Eventually Dhaos developed a god-complex. Many began to worship him.
Shortly after, the same happened to Peth. The 2 began to fight. In this conflict, much was destroyed.
Fearing the same would happen to him, Culpa hid his power away. To do this, the Angel used his magic to enter a reincarnation cycle. After thousands of years he has finally awoken as a Sylvari.
Nikola Culpa, a descendant of the great magician Clow Reed, is recruiting members for his guild, The Children of Clow. Our goal is the protection of Tyria. Plain and simple.

I had to change Chibi and JPeth’s names just a bit to make it sound a tiny bit better, using their first names, and part of one of their usernames.

Just had to make a backstory for the guild, because a lot of people on the site are looking for interesting guilds and RP guilds, so why not make a somewhat interesting back-story, and as The Children of Clow was the group I made in retort to The Church of Chibi and Brotherhood of Cruxis, I figured I’d use MvC lore. :b

My little brother and I have been doing the halloween stuff. I’m level 35 now (36 real soon), and we were getting our asses kicked by Mad King Thorn, the Halloween boss. He’s a bit of a bitch. It’s recommended a party of 5, though. We just went in as a party of 2. Got him about an 8th of the way down before calling quits for now until we can get a bigger party together.

Anyone been keeping up with the events?

I never got around to defeating Mad King Thorn, but I did have fun fighting him. Sounds like we’ll at least see him next Halloween on the day he is forced to behave among the living in celebration of the holiday.

With the threat of the Mad King at bay for now, we move on into November and a “massive one-time world event that will change Tyria forever”. I bring you The Lost Shores.

Keep checked in on that page for more information on the days they hit. I’m keeping updated at least through facebook/twitter, so I’ll let you all know when an event like this happens.

I’m still only like level 38 right now. I haven’t played much at all over the last few weeks. I’ll likely start playing again soon, since I’m done looking for a job for now. I start my job a week from today, so I have a week of playing I could do. :b

I’ve been making a few alts to try different classes, so I haven’t done any of the Mad King Thorn stuff.

I do have a bunch of candy corn though which I’ll be trying to trade in for those Halloween chests or whatever.
