Starting now big games will get thier own hype threads. Especially big social games such as Guitar Hero. They’ll come out anywhere from a week to 2 weeks before they release and will stay stickied for about a week after their release. Guitar Hero: World tour expands the GH universe further than it ever has by taking a Rock Band esque approach to music gaming. With t the introduction of the drums and mic, the game now allows for band mode. With a killer soundtrack, deep online modes, character creation mode, and the all new create a song mode, this game is sure to be one of the greatest music games ever created. The game releases on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and Playstation 2 on October 26, 2008.

I’ve explained this numerous times. When I bought my first GH I only had a Wii and I don’t want to keep having to buy so many instruments for all the different consoles. So I’m keeping all these peripheal based games on the same platform. If I had a 360 and Wii at the same time I probably would have got it on 360 and would have doen the same things.
Otherwise I’m really not bothered by it. I mean for a game where the main purpose is to follow little bullets as they come out of a turnbelt I doubt the graphics really matter that much. As long as it runs at a steady frame per second and glitching. And I barely played online for GHIII on Wii and I doubt improved features would really help me on that. Although it would be pretty nice to start up a band and take on the world haha.
Ugh I really don’t care what yall think about RB2. RB2 would have gotten a similar thread if EA would have had the releases organized to a similar date instead of 360 in September, PS3 in October, and then the others in December. Not my fault.
Plus, you can take every song in Rock Band 1 and put them in Rock Band 2. There are hundreds of songs in the Rock Band 1 DLC, and all of them work for #2.
Also, if you bought Rock Band 2 early you get 20 free songs
Topic restored to most of it’s former glory. Because I am the creator of this topic I expect this to be kept generally on topic. I don’t mind the discussions about RB2 vs GH:WT, anything about music, and mostly anything about games but anything else will be deleted immediately for not contributing. Any complaints about the posts being deleted just keep to yourself or send me a PM but otherwise they served no purpose in this topic. But I don’t mind discussing them through a PM. That’ll be all.
On a note I’d love if someone made an Official thread for Gears of War 2.
Its not coming out for another month, so it can wait until then. Also, guitar hero has good guitars, but the band elements do not look as smooth as RB2.
