Official MvC Clan's Base of Operations

Welcome to the MvC Clan. This is Moviecodec’s competitive online gaming clan. This is the base of operations where everything that is MvC will go down first.

Briefing

Before this, there was an MvC clan that lasted a solid year before fading into oblivion. Lack of interest and disorganization led to its demise. However, due to new interest in a competitive gaming clan for the forum, MvC is returning. I’m Zucas, and I will be the leader of the clan. I hope not too many people have an issue with this but many have asked me to run it so I will.

There will be many differences this time around with MvC. First we are mainly going to be a competitive online gaming clan. We will invite clans from around the world to battle us in key games on numerous consoles. However, there will still be tournaments, but few and far between.

The clan will not be set up into divisions this time. Instead it’ll be one whole clan separated out game by game. As soon as a team of players is able to combine for a certain game, then that game will earn its right to have an MvC clan involved in it. All people who become a part of that team will need to be involved heavily with the clan and make time for the clan. This is a team and if one person let’s the team down... then we all lose. Don’t sign up for a team on a certain game if you can’t make all meetings, practices, and of course matches.

After we have those teams for certain games, starting players will be selected by merit. The best face the competition and the others support in case of drop outs, etc. We are representing a site and you want to be represented with the best. Just like a sports team, the best plays and those who work the hardest have their hard work pay off.

There is no guarantee that every platform will have a game that will be represented by the MvC clan. Considering the sheer lack of PSP gamers on the forum, it is unlikely there will be any games represented on it. And if the representation ends up solely on one platform then that does not represent the site’s biases. We are running a clan here, not and equality parade. MvC is there where we have competent gamers.

Leaders of certain games will be chosen as obviously I can’t own every game. This will once again be decided on merit along with commitment.

MvC Clan is here to provide our gamers with a competitive online gaming experience and hopefully take it to the next level. We do not require any gamertag or whatever changes to the name but wear the MvC spirit loudly.

To become a member you must first have at least 500 post on the moviecodec site or at have some form of connection (that’s legit) to one of the members of the clan. In doing so, you will then have to get an account on Moviecodec if not already done. Then you must submit a bio detailing you. It’s your profile so make sure it looks good. It’ll need to be in a format that you can see from mine or others below.

Alright I updated the first post showing you the requirements and how to join. NOTE: what I put for my profile isn’t limited to that. All I really need to have is your name, rank, country, Genre and Game specialty, and something connecting you to your online gaming compatible consoles (I used my gamertag and my Wii gamer card). But you can add other stuff as I’ll be adding to mine as well. Achievements part should be pretty fun but don’t make things up haha unless you self proclaim it. Don’t put down a clan rank as that will be assigned to you.

May have only played 600 or so games together in Halo 3 for ranked and social but my social record speaks for itself. Ranking is getting up there. In CODWaW, k/d ratio is 1.28 much better then normal.
