Ok what the guy does is:

He says that it’s a makeshift fix and all you have to do is squeeze the sides of the console and it works. Doesn’t show the rings again.

What do you mean squeeze the sides of the console?

Squeeze the sides that curve in. You know when you set it on it’s side and the top curves in? Set it verticle and press the sides of the console together and it works!

I’d still call microsoft support and try to get a good 12 months free of XBOX live like nemesis did

You tried this? What exactly does it do to the console? Does it permanently fix it or you just do it whenever the 3 red lights appear?

Frst the towel, the the duct tape vents (ok thats the PS3) now you have to hug the 360.

er ok but it seems kinda weird, maybe the guy had a second 360 that was playing when he turned on the first 360?
