Okay ummm question bout Xbox 360 Elite

Ok, yeah I got one for christmas, along with Halo 3 and I was wondering. Is it really true an Xbox is going to get a red ring in less then a year? And if so is it possible to fix it? Oh and another dull newb question. How do you customize your armor in Halo (new at it)?

Don’t believe that internet bullcrap. 360’s can defo last longer then a year, and the newer models are made better.

The only way to fix it is either the towel trick, modding, or sending it too MS/retailer.

And to customize your armor, when at the main menu, hit Start, hit right, it should give you the option below.

If you can, sign up for Xbox Live.

mine lasted for a year and a half before it red ringed. My 360 was from the first batch so it was bound to happen.

I think the new ones are made much better, especially elites. they improved the cooling which was the biggest problem. the thing is it seems like everyone red rings only because they are the only ones bitching about it. when you go on message boards your not going to see, “my xbox turned on today!" instead you only see the negative “my xbox fucking red ringed today!".

That being said, red ringing is still a big problem and it might happen to you. Don’t worry it’s not the worst thing in the world, mine was only gone for a week and a half.

I think you can go that long without an xbox...hopefully

But most of them are Sony fans who bought it for no apparent reason, and then want to find reasons to complain about it.

i was pissed at the time because it was the week halo 3 came out. But M$ made it better with a brand new xbox, not just my repaired one, and a one month free card for xbox live.

i don’t want to bitch because as angry as that made me, i was only angry because i loved it so much. that’s what’s funny. if a Sony fan bitches about his xbox being gone he’s actually admitting that he loves it.
