But they have contol over which hdd go into their products.knowing MS they couold have cut a few corners and sent out a whole heap of 360s with bad components..that and one of the leading cases of hdd failure is due to overheating..which the 360 has a history of...just saying.

They are using the same HDD brand everyone else uses, you know that, right?

Nevertheless, in this case, it is MS’s fault. Hijacc told me more about the situation and it seems like a software issue.

That sucks. But I don’t understand why it is that everybody’s Xbox 360 is screwed up in some manner except mine? Maybe I’m just lucky.
