!!!Playstation 3 FANS!!!

This is a PS3 fan topic only! no hateful, biased remarks of any kind, please.

I personally think the PS3 will just do as good if not better than the PS2 with the PS2 having the most sells out of the three main consoles. I’d put my money having the PS3 out last the other 2 consoles. With the HD generation overwhelming America, I would think the PS3 is better equipt to take the future on unlike the X-Box 360 with it’s native 720p display and no HDMI outputs. If it weren’t for graphics, we’d still be playing pong or joust instead of HALO or Tekken.

I would like to state that fans of the PS3 should know that people of the other type are going to make fun of things they really know nothing about. For instance, 360 fans actually believe that the 3 general hyperthreading processors are better than the CELL. They also tend to make fun of the controller when they’ve never held it in their own hands. A true gamer can get used to any style of controller, no matter how bulky (X-Box) or how misplaced the buttons could be (Gamecube).

Personally, I like the 360 controller, but i still favor the Dualshock 2. It’s lighter, more fit and better response. If anything, Microsoft adapted the 360 controller to be more like the PS2 controller. if you don’t believe me, look at the first controller, where the D-pad and the analog are. They’ve switched it to be more comfortable, just like the original dualshock was. Now, they have 4 L and R buttons... coinsidence?

Another thing i’ve been keeping track of is the Lucent vs. Microsoft case. If they find Microsoft guilty of copyright infringment, they [Microsoft] will have to call back and stop production of all X-Box 360s. Because the 360 uses Lucent’s Mpeg-2 technology, it’ll be a while before they can remedy the problem. Long enough for the PLAYSTATION 3 to emerge November and rule over the holiday season.

right... I guess you’re the guy who knows wut everyone likes, and if someone else likes something else, you shut them down 'cause they don’t like wut you like. I thought there weren’t supposed to be any biased remarks or something like that on this thread. any ways, I prefer the PS2 controller over the 360’s because of the fact that i just like it more! every button on the Dualshock 2 is analog, unlike the 360’s. so, the harder you press a button, the more gas your gonna get. I still like the 360 controller because of the trigger buttons, but i’m a huge fan of fighting games. It takes more strategic thinking than FPS, if you’re good at it. it’s quicker, harder, and more variant than FPS. and there are no really good fighting games on the x-box.

How did i know you were gonna say something about DOA! Ask any true gamer who plays fighters and see wut they say about DOA. yeah, it’s smooth fps and graphics are good, but the gameplay and fighting engine is horrible. The physics and collision calculations were always off, and the countering moves make this game feel like it was made for amateurs. all you really gotta do in the game is keep pressing back and block the whole round! granted, if you’re playing someone who knows wut they’re doing, there’s more to it, but that alone gets you pretty damn far in the game! every character in that game has the same counter moves and basic throw physics. all DOA is is flashy lights, graphics and girls with bouncy boobs, that’s it!

im the true ps3 fan 4 and ive changed my name to ps3 fan ultamite so ignore that other guy

i have both teken and dead or alive.
teken tag has graphics nearly as gud as the dead or live 4.
the xbox version is no where near as good tho.
the lighting on the mucsles is really realistic on teken and thats not even the latest version.

theres a game for the ps3 called project offset.
the ground had 8 polygons(ps1 polygon numbers)
yet the bricks had a 3d look.
i have now idea how on earth they made brikes with no polygons for each one look 3d.
they said its the way the shaders move around when u move to giv it 3d look.
if u go to projectoffset.com every picture u see was a screen shot from the real time gameplay.
if u download the 1080 p resolution video or 720 p res u will see just how fucking amazing the visuals are.

dead or alive has supa fast moves but hardly any moves compared to teken.
plus teken has hell lot beta graphics
probly cus the background is fake but u can bearly notice it.

I do believe there are some immature PS3 fans, but it goes the same with 360 fans alike. BUT, to constantly make fun of people and kepp calling them gay is even that much more immature and uncalled for.
