It will be lvl 50 matches. Meaning all pokemon will be leveled up or leveled down to be at lvl 50. I feel this makes it even across the board so all people can play
Secondly it’s going to be single battles. Meaning 1 pokemon in at a time. You will have a total of 6 pokemon.
Thirdly any items are allowed.
Fourthly there will be a prize. I’ll give away some of my rare candies to the winner of the tourney. I think that’s a good prize.
Here are the matchups and times:
Inferno Hero X vs Zucas- 8:00 p.m. eastern standard time(9/4/07)
Alphakennyone vs TWINKIE- 8:00 p.m. eastern standard time(9/4/07)
Finals- 8:45 p.m. eastern standard time(9/4/07)
The MvC Wii Division is sponsoring it’s first tournament ever. The action all kicks off with North America’s first online Wii game, Pokemon Battle Revolution. What better way to start off than one of the most extensive series ever and possibly the greatest battle RPG ever. The game releases next Monday and the tournament will July 3, 2007. Buy the game early, train your pokemon, and prepare for the ultimate battle. Up to 8 contenders.
Combatants Zucas
Inferno Hero X
Alphakennyone
Twinkie
Oh yea you don’t have a Wii yet. Don’t worry this won’t be the only PBR tournament. I’m not going to do a one and done kinda thing here haha. There’ll be other PBR tournaments don’t worry.
Yes don’t worry there will be another PBR tournament later in the year. I’m not just going to do a one and done on some games. So don’t worry.
This is kinda to get our Division into the tournament world. Kinda short after the game’s release but it gives everyone the same time limit to play the game and level up their pokemon.
Note also if this timeframe is too early then we will delay the time. The delay will be determined by if we don’t get a certain number of combatants. But if we get 8 by next Thursday then it’s a go. If not I’ll delay it a couple of weeks. But that’s how a delay only will happen.

I’m going to do some research about this game right now. I didn’t originally intend on buying it, but now I’m interested.
Well to say the least you remember the Colisseum games from the N64? Yea this is the Wii version with online haha. That’s basically what it is. No matter to me I loved the Colisseum games.
Also I only reccomend with this date that people who plan on getting the game in the first 3 days of release to participate in this tourney. Meaning if you are planning to get it on the 2nd of July may not be a good idea. But if you get it by Thursday, which is why it’s a good cut off date, you’ll be in good shape.
Note when you do get this game and start playing and training depending on what I find out in the game I’ll determine level limitations and how many Pokemon will be used by each player in the battle. Also I haven’t decided if I’ll let Diamond/Pearl users import their Pokemon in here. Probably because I’ll have the lvl limit so it wouldn’t cause a problem.
Alright if you want to join just leave me a message here that you will. I may not be here to put you in immediately so don’t worry I’ll add ya.
This is exciting for me cuase I’ve worked quite a bit and so has Cid working on setting up the Wii Division. And Matt you’ve helped a lot as well so this is exciting for me.
Zucas you could count me in, I already have 20 or so guys at high lvls, I just need to finish trianing my guys then get some of the better TMs from battle revolution so my guys can get some finalized movesets. I just need to know what the details of battle are like single, double, or multi-battles. And the rule as well: free, lvl 50, or lvl 100.
Hmm you sound like you already have the game. It will be single battles most likely. 1 on 1 match of players and pokemon. And it will probably be lvl 50. As I said that will all be finalized next Thursday.
But I assume you are getting it first day like me. Glad to have ya on board.
