Alright I’ll bbl. If you guys want to make suggestions on the details of how we’ll conduct this tournament I’m always open to new ideas. If you have a little more insight on how these thigns works I’m glad to hear it. Thx for all yalls help.
Pokemon is one of the games like Starfox 64 and Metroid Prime where I overlook everything. I got up at 7 in the morning on April 21st this year to go get diamond and peral with my brother and there were no lines when we went to get them. Somthing tells me this game will be harder to get with the wii’s popularity now and with the higher then expected success of Pokemon Diamond and Peral. The funny thing is this game may just be a revoultion in the terms of online gaming for it is the first for the wii and it can become one of the biggest online game hits since halo and GOW.
Oh and I get all the info I need at Serebii.net, they show everything all 493 pokemon can learn and what natures are best for them. Plus it already has a page for battle revolution on like the stuff you can buy from the shop and transfer to your DS games, you can buy rare TMs like earthquake, stone edge, and dragon pulse here, it would be much easier then just spending a lot of time at the battle tower.
Hmmm. I read up about it and learned if you don’t have Diamond or Pearl (which I don’t have) then your guaranteed to get your ass kicked because the Pokemon supplied to you are pretty weak.
I’ll try to get the game Monday, but there’s no guarantees... If I get it, then I’ll sign up (if they’re any spots left) if not... then you guys have fun.
OH there will probably be a lot of spots left. Hey and you got plenty of time. So if you need to wait til Tuesday or Wednesday or even Thursday to get it it’s cool.
At the rate though that I’m getting members may have to push back this tournament anyway. May have been only a good dream but I’m hoping.
Shit man, I would so be on board with this, but I’m strapped for cash right now. I’m buying one of those 12 month subscription cards for Gold Xbox Live, and well as 4000 points. Then, I have to save up for my reserved copies of Metroid Prime 3 and Halo 3 Legendary pack, so that’s like $300 bucks for the two.

Well, I’m gonna buy RE:4 first... if I make enough cash this weekend to buy both, I damn sure as hell am.

Also I only reccomend with this date that people who plan on getting the game in the first 3 days of release to participate in this tourney. Meaning if you are planning to get it on the 2nd of July may not be a good idea. But if you get it by Thursday, which is why it’s a good cut off date, you’ll be in good shape.
Note when you do get this game and start playing and training depending on what I find out in the game I’ll determine level limitations and how many Pokemon will be used by each player in the battle. Also I haven’t decided if I’ll let Diamond/Pearl users import their Pokemon in here. Probably because I’ll have the lvl limit so it wouldn’t cause a problem.
Many competitive battlers prefer the classic 6v6 single battle. Another thing is you can probably set the lvl cap to 100 in PBR. And you should also ban ubers from the tournament.
Also note anyone planning on buying this game just to be in the tournament please make sure to read all reviews for this game. I believe in this Wiik in REview at IGN it was hinted that PBR sucks and that is going to get a pretty bad review.
But I’m going to tell you upfront what the game is. It’s Pokemon Colliseum on the Wii. And without POkemon Diamond Pearl it may not even be worth a buy. What pokemon you start off with without the game? Don’t know or if you’ll even be able to pick from a large selection. But just saying I reccomend if you are going to get this game to really like Pokemon, have Diamond/Pearl, and really love online play.
