Possible Halo Hacker?

Okay, I was in a team slayer match- Team Snipers on Valhalla.

I had a strange encounter, this one guy Greddien86, he was connected just fine and I happen to get a headshot on him. A few moments later I see him come back and we have a sniper stand off, me at the drop pod where the bubble shield would lay and him a the rock formation leading into the mongoose outpost.

Now this is the weird part, I miss my first shot, my second hits his jaw, I had no clear proof that second shot hit, but the 3rd and 4th went right through him, his body flinched and he did not go down.

If you guys want check out my file share, I may want to report this to bungie. I recorded the whole event of when I shot him those times and he did not die.

mabye you had some major lagg at that time?
i once killed myself with a sniper and bubble sheild when trying to kill someone
he was standing there and due to lagg, the bullet went right through, bounces off the bubble and headshots me

I’ll take a look at it. But due to lag and host issues sometimes in sniper matches you’ll have where you take a shot at someone and it’ll go through the person, blood will come up and even body flinches happen, but no damage is taken. It’s complete bullshit but it happens.

Just an interesting note I found this:

Bungie has stated that the Sniper rifle was not meant for no-scoping, and wishes they would have changed it in order for it to be almost impossible to no-scope like in COD4, but decided not to because they didn’t want to use another game’s Mechanics.

I personally hate sniper only matches mainly because it gets annoying and it is really the only mode worth it for campers. I have said I am decent with a sniper and would prefer a BR anyday
but it is pretty dam annoying to keep landing in matches where you have to fight in wide arenas like Valhalla or Standoff when either the shotgun or pistol become useless on those maps.

Well not really. Sniper matches require some tacitcs. About 2 or 3 snipers at the post while the others go off to retrieve the flag. Perhaps sniper rifles should be limited to about two rifles and the rest be assult rifles and shotguns and so on.

Neonman, I am talking about team slayer modes, just kill limits and all that.

Yeah, i had a snipers match on Last Resort the other day, some how a guy on the other team got out of the map and tried to snipe me on the sea wall, it was pretty sad seeing that he had to resort to cheating and still got fucking raped...

Like me on Crossfire ontop of the broken down building..HAHA. I can see out but they cant see in.

I can only no-scope with Semi Auto’s. I have yet to master the bolt action sniper’s but I do know how it is done.

Bolt Actions are the REAL snipers, the Semi’s are for noobs. The only time I used the Semi’s were to get the Gold Drag and thats it..

R700. Win.

I always have two snipers in my inventory, M21 and R700. M21 for no scoping/close quaters sniping for places like Vacant and the R700 for Overgrown.

they should have put the .50 Cal in gold...

Yea I mostly user R700 too, and for hardcore, Gold Dragonov overkill with M4 Red Dot sight.

Yea, if anything make the .50 cal gold.
