From your post, I can guess you have never ever played Prototype.
From your post i can guess you have never played hulk ultimate destruction.
I have. Yes I have, actualy. And the difference between a game about demolition with a green mutant that has only one power and can’t glide and a game about a virus infection, government conspiracies and lots of blood should be obvious for someone that played both.
Yeah you definitely didn’t play lol. I remember more than one power in hulk The story’s not the same, but the gameplay definitely is. And i’ve even seen a bunch of the exact same attacks, movement is extremely similar, the way he jumps, punches, runs, starts running. it’s like they took the animations from hulk, scaled em down, and put a new model in. haha.
Even the way he throws people looks 100% like how hulk throws em

OIC, so hulk can consume people, alternate his physical look anytime he wants, stealth-enter any military base disguised as a military, use rocket launchers, grencade launchers, machine guns and assault rifles?
That’s the good ol' faithful Hulk we ever knew on the comics, eh?

No, what I’m saying is that THOSE little things, those tiny little things that I just said (and others) makes Prototype stand out, and DIFFERENT. Therefore, even though similar, Hulk =/= Alex J. Mercer

Well, i still think there’s alot of similarities in some areas.

Do it, trust me. But beware that the game gets semi-boring after beating the story mode, so do a new game + on a difficulty you have not played yet(easy if you played it on medium or vice versa, tho I suggest starting on medium then going to easy if you are shootin for the achieves).
Prototype > InFamous (Note: NOT >>>>>>>, just >
So, therefore, InFamous was also crap, right?
Hey, it’s your opinion.
Infamous was miles better than Prototype. For starters it had a storyline and better graphics. Prototype was terrible.
You can’t say Prototype’s story was simpler than InFamous. I mean, better, maybe (Opinions FTW), but not more complex. Prototype’s story goes far beyond just what we see in cutscenes, and a casual player wouldn’t figure what had happened with Alex Mercer or Hope, Idaho only by playing the game. That “brotherhood” full-of-bullshit background story kinda ticked me off, but don’t get me wrong, I like the story and I LOVE InFamous (Almost Plat FTW), but, lets face it, you’re just defending InFamous because it’s an exclusive.

Nope. You are completely wrong. Alex J. Mercer died trying to expose Gen tech and when he died he got infected with a strain of the Black Light viruse. The virus consumed him when he fell on the broken vile after being shot, not like a normal ″consume″but slow as it entered his body killing him. When the viruse wakes up in the morge it thinks it`s Alex but it`s just another diguise. (then theres that whole thing with Elizibeth Grenne but thats beside the point, {PROTOTYPE} has a story line but its very hard to follow since you are looking at other people`s memories) So you Mr. Asumtions

Lol @ big ass typos w/ big-ass spoilers.
I’d edit that post if I were you. BTW, it’s GenTec, toghether without the H in the end. Yes, I am a grammar nazi, surprise. About your comment, you probably didn’t even get that far into the game Web-wise, right?
Because:
*SPOILERS*
Alex worked for GenTec, and when he discovered WHAT he was working on (Operation Carnival II, deadlier strain than the original BLACKLIGHT virus, featured in Greene and in Operation Carnival), he realized what GenTec was really after: Bio-weapons. After discovering that, he put on that hoodie we see in the trailers and such, stole the vial, called Dana and McMullen to tell respectively that he was fine and the he had fucked up for not telling him. He gets traced on his cellphone, and McMullen sends assassins. As Alex reached Penn Station, seein he got trapped, he unleashed the virus, and that’s exactly what happened. BTW, Alex was already dead. The virus consumed his dead body on the genetic level. Ya see, the name of the guy we see in the trailers isn’t Alex: It’s BlackLight.
Elizabeth Green is not OUT of the point... she IS the fucking point.
And Prototype’s story isn’t that hard when you manage to “link” the memories (as in link them in real life, there isn’t some kind of system that links them in game), linking them to times, places or persons that are being reffered. You just have to WANT to understand Prototype’s story, and the basics is already explained en-route to the final boss.
Prototype was horrible.
Infamous was amazing.
Although, if Prototype was exclusive to PS3 and Infamous was the multi-console game, I bet PS3 Fan’s thoughts would be different.

I agree with the third and second pharagraphs, but I strongly disagree with first.
State your hatred reasons.

Button masher.
Repetitive.
Buggy.
Overhyped.
Bad graphics.
It’s just one of those games where it’s automatically labeled as 9/10 and everyone rapes their consoles with it for maybe two or three weeks, and then they realize it wasn’t really a good game, and they never play it again. It really just had no polish whatsoever.

Button masher. [GoW is a button masher]
Repetitive. [That didn’t stop the Devil May Cry series from going to hell...]
Buggy. [Fallout 3 has the same issues!]
Overhyped. [GTA 4 anyone?]
Bad graphics. [Tell that to Wii games that sell even more...]

I see you haven’t tried hard yet.
On hard, if you even DARE go out and start mashing some ramdom buttons, kiss your life good-fucking-bye. It is repetitive if YOU want it to be (IE same powers, same places to get EP, same event all the time), because it always surprises me. I haven’t encountered A SINGLE bug in the game. It wasn’t that overhyped...and I found the cutscenes to be good graphics-wise.
