ps3 got yellow light of doom!!!

ok im coming home from school.
my sister who drop out of school was home and was playing it before i left ok.
so when i walked through the door my sister says theres somthing wroung with the ps3.
she said that it turned off on her automaticly 2 times then froze a 2hours ago?
i said when it automaticly turns off it is too hot and needs to cool down!!!
she said o... o well.
so i go into the room where the ps3 is and strange enough its still on even though it froze ???
i thought she was at least smart enough to turn it off when it froze but nope...
so i turned the t.v and ps3 off she left on. 2 hours later i turned it on and all i got was yellow light. i turn it on now and it still wont go on.

i think my sister just screwed up the ps3 by not only turning it back on when the ps3 automaticly turned off do to it being to hot but she left it on frozen even?

i burned my finger on the plastic and i was like hoily shit turn it off!!!


so guess i need a new ps3

Yep, basically the inside of the PS3 got so hot (it must of frozen at a moment where a fair amount of power was being used) it stayed that exact way for the 2 hours it was forzen, and i melted the graphics card.

Syphon - Keep your finger on the turn on/off switch for around 5 seconds, if that does not work, then your PS3 died.
