Funny how someone is always trying to make a “Halo=Killer”, but then 5 minutes later they complain on how Halo sux.

People said kill zone was the Halo killer but it hardly came close to killing it, the only first person shooter that has been said to be just as good is metroid prime both are two of the most legenadary shooters of all time like goldeneye. If resistance was to compete with any other game right now it would be gears of war both are two really anticpated games I would say gears of war wins this but both this and resistance are not in the same league as Metroid Prime or Halo, the reason being is because Metroid has more of a legacy and Halo has been deemed as its rival. If we should include one more shooter into this stand off between resistance and Gears of War we should add Red Steel it is a highly anticpated shooter as well, mainly for its different control.

If Insomniac makes unique weapons as they did in the Ratchet and Clank series, Halo stands no chance. All Insomniac has to do is throw some super-badass weapons in there.

doubted, all the weapons so far seem to me to be to much on the half-life side

Actually most of the weapons were never used before.

This time this is a TRUE a Halo-killer. It is now the must have game for the PS3. This game has achieved Halo-killer status. Don’t compare it to Killzone because that was said to be a Halo-killer while this game IS a Halo-Killer.

I highly doubt that this game will make Halo look bad just because it is on the PS3. It will depend on its gameplay and nothing more besides IGN already game reistance a review

Halo 1 got a 9.6

Halo 2 got a 9.8

Resistance got a 9.1 so it was good but not as good as halo it got the same score as fear.

many other games got a higher ranking of 9.8 like:

Metroid Prime
Half-life 2
resident Evil 4

That doesn’t mean it’s not a Halo-killer and it sold alot in Japan.

I never said it would make Halo look bad but it definitely has stuff over Halo and great online just as good as Halo’s.

2 reviews at GI gave Fall of Man 9.5 out of 10.

Resistance is NOT a Halo killer. I repeat, it is NOT a Halo Killer. It is however, the killer app for the PS3.

Just like how the Xbox 360 has Halo 3 and Gears of War and how the wii has Legend of Zelda TP and Metroid Prime 3. If you want to see a good video on youtube someone made on metroid, halo, and killzone go here, it is just fun to watch in my opinion.
