Quantum of Solace

the game information is released at gamestops website. i like the graphical style but the first screen shot looks like shit. it looks like a ps2 game. i dont know what to think about it. they cut the driving missions so no bond cars and they added in a 3rd person cover system. the cover system this gen is fun but does every game need one? it gets old when every game plays the same.

Well James bond games always had a cover system but yea the first person screenshot looks like shit

only everything or nothing and from russia with love had cover systems but they were 3rD person with lock-on.
instead of adding a stupid duck and cover system they should have rebuilt how you use gadgets from the ground up. That’s what made the game different from other games. it had gadgets you coudl use. they could have used the gadget system for multiplayer and people could break into ventilation shafts and rig buildings and stuff.

im disappointed. but ill probably buy it when it goes down in price anyways.

well maybe they’ll go back to their roots of Goldeneye, World Is Not Enough, and Nightfire. Good old day of bond games.

World is not enough sucked

I thought it was good. I mean it wasn’t the Rare team who did it, but it was decent. Better than any Bond game made after Nightfire.

YEP wasn’t the world is not enough the one when you ski or something during campaign?

I wanna say yes but it’s been so long since I’ve played it.

I liked Agent Under Fire and all the other ones on GC except GoldenEye 2.

This game looks okay.

No one’s provided a link to this preview so I still have no idea what it’s like haha.

But yea the GC ones were good of course up until Goldeneye 2 and what not. After Nightfire they just went downhill. Nightfire was so fun. If Quantum of Solace is like that game, then they’ve got my buy.
