Well it’s been confirmed to us for months now haha... but Ubisoft is telling us what we already know. Also mentions it uses MotionPlus which is awesome. Apparently Nintendo didn’t keep the device away from all developers eh.
Definetly means this title will release in 09 which is good considering Wii already has 2 other big shooters releasing this holiday season: Call of Duty: WaW and Quantum of Solace.
But possibly bad for The Conduit which might share a release time with this.

Not really a bad thing. Opinion was generally “meh” for Red Steel, so excitement will be lower for the new one.
And The Conduit is shaping up to be the FPS the Wii needs, not only to satiate the more hardcore gamers but also to show the Wii has more power than developers are leading on.

and do u no if the new call of duty for wii is going 2 b online??
Activision said that CoD 5 on Wii will have all the features of the PS360 versions, including online. It’s rumored that they’ll use WiiSpeak for voice chat as well.

I think the Conduit, if released around the same time will definitely be the better of the two... RS2 will just have so much that it needs to improve upon that the fans might just brush it aside for a newer IP. Sad as that is it will most likely be the case. If the conduit uses WM+ then hold on to your seats for a badass thrill ride! Also, what is QoS for the wii?

yea but Red Steel has brand behind it. Ya know it’ll sell well no matter what. Got a core following. The Conduit has to gain that.
And Quantum of Solace is the Bond game based off the movie.

Do you really think that the bond game will be worth it?
RS’s fan base is pretty small, I mean I have the game and I’m still leary of the sequal
Well if the Wii version has the same features as the others then yes. If not then no. But considering its being made by Activision it shouldn’t be too bad considering CO WaW on Wii is quality.
RS’s fanbase is larger than The Conduit’s haha. Not to mention RS and Wii are one and one haha. It’s going to sell despite the bad hype of the first.

But it’s good for 3rd parties this holiday season that all they have to compete with from Ninty is Animal Crossing and Wii Music. Not as bad as last year haha.
