well the gow i play and i play whew for 3hrs. lol and the gameplay is over just like that. luck i just rented it haha i like games that take forever to beat and i want to know if resistance gameplay last a while or is it just a few hr gameplay as well

well it took me a while to beat but its probaly around 12 hours lang

After you beat Gears of War it gets boring and the game isn’t that long either.

Gears of War disgraces itself.

? GoW has enough replay value to keep me playing it. I have beaten GoW on all three difficulties like 20 times since i got it. Resistance is just too repetitive. I like the cover system on Gears also.

The cover system on Rainbow Six is way better then Gear’s cover system and Gears is pretty repetitive. Most everything looks the same and multiplayer only lasts so long.

I respect your opinion, I have vegas and its an awesome game, but I personally like Gears better. Its merely repetitive, but its so fun u dont really notice.

I haven’t played Resistance so I can’t say which is better yet.

Online Co-op is really what Gears is ALL ABOUT. Grab a 12-pack (my case beer. Soda for some of you) and sit down with an online buddy and play Gears Co-op. Resistance... Meh, go get a copy of Call Of Duty 2. Your good to go.

One small thing to remember, Gears of war, was not a launch game for the Xbox 360. i came a resonable time after the X-box 360. as a system get on a bit, the deveolpers get a handle on the hardware and squeeze more and more out of the games. we have seen this time and time again with previous gen titles.

Resistane:fall of man is a LAUNCH TITLE! that means that comparison between the two is not entirely fair. wait a year or so, then see what the games that come out then on ps3 compare to gears of war. wait until the deveolpers have had more experiance developing games for the ps3. then we will see.

pffffft! GEoW’s been publicized to the high heavens, simply because there are currently more people who own a 360 than the PS3 and the Wii. Hell, even though Zelda is huge, there were simply more reviews for GEoW because more people have the system. Same issue with the PS3 & resistance.

Haven’t played Resistance but Gears was pretty meh in about everything except online. So it really wouldn’t take much from Resistance to beat it. I mean Gears had short, extremely boring storyline with characters you could really care less for. The setup was very badly presented and whatnot. The game controls were pretty good but nothing amazingly wonderful. The online, which I’ve yet to play, I hear is pretty good so I’ll give it that. So if I ever do play Resistance all it really needs is an actual storyline to make it better but somehow I feel that it won’t do that. Silly how companies just make FPS now today just to get a good graphical an online title out. Pretty sad really.
