Rumor: Star Fox Wii to be Revealed in Next Nintendo Power

Surprisingly, the news couldn’t be more welcome as it features a new Star Fox for Wii under the name of Star Fox Wii; Battle for Corneria. No details are offered about the game itself.

Although the rumor does go a little further as they specify that the game will accommodate a use for the new Wii Motion Plus plus an ‘Online Space Battle Mode’ with Wii Speak support capabilities.

Are we facing a great bit of investigative news or just another fake? It seems that at least the hinted possibility may be supported by the fact that the official dominion of the StarFox web page has been renewed for one more year.

For now, let’s just keep it in the ‘rumors’ category until we can gather more facts on the topic during the upcoming weeks.

Well Nintendo has their yearly fall conference coming up in early October. This issue would hit shelves somewhere in mid to late September so it’s not out of the question.

Really I have no idea. Nintendo has their hands full already with a lot of games in development by their own studios. But hey they are a big developer so who knows. Not to mention still don’t know if they’ve “outsourced” to a 3rd party.
