and if you cant answer this explain why she lost all the other times when she fought samus.
DS is obviously much more powerful and gets more powerful as she gets more phazon, linking origins to metroid prime.
plus if it wasnt MP in the new suit then any other origin ideas would be thrown out the window, because any other creatures would have gotten used to the suit and wouldve killed samus single-handedly.
that and we really dont have anything else to go on, so its the best theory at the time.
ya what if dark samus is, in fact, an evil incarnate of samus from the dark dimension that can survive the light atmosphere because he/she/it has a dark version of the light suit. not dark suit though, just a dark version of the light suit. and metroid prime hasnt even showed up yet. of course this is just a theroy of ds not being mp. personally i think ds is mp.
so if you have any better ideas of DS origin then im all ears.

very few of the other dark creatures can without going amorphis or possesing another creature, and if she is from the dark world she wouldnt use phazon as her main weapon but instead dark matter.
and if she has a dark verson of the light suit why does it speak such a large resembelance to the varia suit?
tr: as i said, the same way samus can survive in dark aether with the light suit. light suit protects samus from dark. in dark samus' case it is a dark version of the light suit.(once again, not the dark suit samus gets) dark samus' dark suit protects her from the light.
that doesnt explain why she utilizes phazon as a main weapon.
and even if she originates form the dark world what happened to the thing that poped out of the remains of MP in MP1?
and how did anything from the dark world get her DNA if she never ventured there prior to MP2?
AND if she did come form the dark world why were the dark pirates in sanctuary fotress try to stop her from taking the phazon. over anything they wouldve helped her.
because dark aether formed when a phazon-filled meteor impacted aether. the impact and immense radiation must have cause a dimensional flux creating dark aether. and thats why dark samus uses phazon, it is the souce of its world.
and as ive stated earlier, i think mp is ds. but it still seems possible that they are seperate entities.
i think its safe to assume that most fans of the metorid series will assume the same thing: that DS is essentially MP or at least a part of metroid prime.
Dark Samus (referring to battle) would lose now that I think of it Samus has all skils of samus and when hit hard enoughturns into that beast but Dark Samus could then Become metroid prime come o think of it this would be the coolest battle of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well dark samus is proberly just the phazon suit animated by phazon, i know that dark samus doesn’t come from the dark world
if you scan her first part, it would say the she has an image of the varia suit and since dark aethar is a rich sorce of phazon, she goes there to asorb it and to try and kill samus as revenge
Well, SA-X has all the same features Samus has. And Dark Samus has a Phazon Beam, plus Multi-Missles and Morph Ball Mode. I would say that Dark Samus would win because the Phazon Beam can effect Samus the most. Since SA-X has ALL the features the real Samus has, Dark Samus would win.
Oh yeah, Dark Samus was originally Metroid Prime, after Samus deafeated Prime in the first game, the second form absorbed Samus' Phazon Suit. So she formed into a “human” like form like Samus.
