Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution Details

Recently 2k announced that Civilization Revolution would be goign to consoles and handhelds. They never mentioned which but today, when announcing their E3 2007 lineup, they mentioned them. It seems that it’ll be going to PS3, 360, DS, and Wii. Yes PSP will be mission out. But the Wii version will be released after the other 3. It’s obvious to say that the Wii version was started on after the other versions were started. Showing that Wii earned this game. Here’s the details:

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution will be the first offering in the legendary Civilization(r) series to appear on next generation consoles and handheld systems. In development by legendary designer Sid Meier and Firaxis Games(tm), this game will deliver Civilization’s renowned epic single-player campaigns featuring vast re-playability and unmatched addictive gameplay. In addition, with revolutionary features like real-time interaction with leaders and advisors, extensive multiplayercapabilities and integrated video and voice chat, Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution will completely transport the Civilization series to a level of gameplay that fans have never seen before.

Platforms: Xbox 360(tm) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION(r)3 computer entertainment system, Nintendo’s Wii(tm), and Nintendo DS(tm)
Available: Spring 2008 for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and DS and fall 2008 for the Wii

wow, Sid Meier is a genuise, i can’t wait for this game!

Yep ever current generation hardware is getting it but the PSP. Oh poor PSP.

I’m intrigued to see how this will work for Wii. So depending on how it works for Wii will depend on which platform I get it for.

yeah.....i’ll look for it in....wait wat tiem does E3 start? On G4 it says 9:00....taht’s in an hour and 15 min.
