So, I went out this last friday and bought skate it and I have to say that I am severely disappointed. It is almost impossible to use the balance board to play it and I only found one of the mission spots after playing it for about 3 hours... needless to say it was returned and I got Castlevania Judgment and I am not disappointed with it at all. The online play for it seems very streamlined and I have yet to see any lag. Rent it if you get the chance.

It would be fun if you could see where the hell you are supposed to go to complete objectives. Objectives are marked by almost invisible spray paint arrows. So, you basically do nothing but freeskate in the whole freaking game. I did use all the controller set ups and the best is the Wiimote and nunchuk set up. Castlevania rocks though... there is a lot of waggling in the game but that is easily overlooked by the very fun gameplay.

Why the laughter? because I thought one of the best looking skating games for the Wii would be great and fell so short?

Really... it got such good reviews and the controls were what it was raved on about. I heard it has a learning curve similar to that of SSX Blur but that was supposed to be a good thing about it because it makes it more of a core game.
Well I’ll still trust what IGN says and the videos but I need a balance board and unfortunately Wii Fit is nowhere to be found in my city.
