Maybe should do what Nintendo is doing, savoring the ideas before making something else. Way too many SONIC games out there.

I will say that they did turn the Sonic 06 Shadow back into SA2 shadow...although he seemed more...deadset on whatever he was doing, way diffrent from SHTH

Sonic series was never meant for deep plot that involves a typical emo hero running around with a gun.
I really dislike using this parallel, but was Vegeta’s body being saved by King Yemma able to thwart his “stature” as a character? His final atonement?
Overall, from what i believe, a character should not have to die to maintain or achieve that sort of status.

hm.....in that case, i wonder how , if Naka was definitly going to have him return- How should Shadow hve been reintroduced.....sure , they took the Shadow the Hedgehog route...whch wasn’t too good or too bad, but..

Lol, Shadow is not a emo. The fans are what got that notion started, truly.
The guns- I don’t know which designer’s /developer’s idea that was. prob the same one who is beefing sonic up with swords these days.
But he wasn’t like that originally, and isn’t like it anymore.
The guns seemed to be a one-time thing. Prob them just trying to capture a different audience.
Now that i think about it, BLAZE got the same treatment ,as a giant sacrifice. Now, is the Sonic world better off or worse?
Of course, oyu have to put aside the fact of Sonic Rush occuring afterwards apparently, but, her sacrifice was the second of it’s sort after Shadow’s.....and there isn’t muc hepicness to it..half because of Silver’s immaturity that caused it..
Or E102-Gamma. Another “kill off” that only lost fans of the series. Omega fixed that problem a bit...but it shouldn’t have had to occur.

See, thats what Naka prevented with Shadow. true he MAYBE could have done a better job having Shadow come back....but when characters die off , we lose guys like Gamam and Blaze.
DOn’t get me started on E102’s “Revival” in Sonic Battle. ROFL, it was like a slap in the face....they ALmost revived him....but nope,....then again, Emerl was the focus of that one
