Alright we’ve had plenty of Mario vs Sonic topics. This time I’ve added a little twist ccharacters that exist within the same games as Sonic and Mario are to be included in one big war. There are some exceptions and rules though
A. Don’t use characters/items that could cause the fight to be ridicously one sided such as the Chyrstals, Beanstar, 7 Chaos Emralds, Master Emerald.
B. Try to stay recent to the series, in other words don’t use characters that are dead or permantly trapped.
C. Donkey Kong can be counted but if you wanna use any of DK’s allies, then Sonic gets characters from Nights.
D. Mario characters such as Bowser and Wario are to alligned with Mario in this topic, same with Eggman and Metal Sonic being alligned with Sonic. It doesn’t matter how big of a rivalry the characters had in the past, this isn’t something where Eggman would team up with Bowser to dispose of Sonic, or Mario would team up with Sonic to stop Bowser.
I personally think Sonic’s team would win, but some people think otherwise. No go!

Eh, I’ll get rid of Silver and Blaze since their not from the same time/dimension as Sonic and I’ll decide against adding Nega because of that. But I will add Jet, Wave, and Storm.

Well, since You said any characters that are dead or imprisoned, then Mario’s team has no chance of winning.
Smithy Gang- Capable of mass producing an army of strong creatures.
Exor- A Giant Sword, that is capable of destructive magic. It’s also a ship apparently. Along with Smithy he might be from another dimension, but I can’t be sure.
Shadow Queen- Only weakness is the 7 Crystal Stars. She can possess people, and destroyed the world in one day. She can also curse people by trapping them in chests that are impossible to escape until they are opened.
Cackletta- Can possess people and take over their body while making them much more stronger
Count Bleck- Has an impentrable barrier, than only the Pure hearts can break. Can also teleport, himself and others in a massive scale.
Dimentio- Can create and control his own dimenions where he is 256 times more powerful. He can also send others there trapping them in the dimension. He can also create barriers around a group of people, and transport them whereever he wants.
Black Jewel- An evil diamond, that can turn treasure of any shape or size, into monsters.
Terrormisu- Don’t know much about her, but she is capable of eating souls on a global scale apparently, and can also grant wishes. Apparently from another dimension.
Golden Diva- Another one I don’t know about, she can transform people into cats
Culex- Extremely powerful magic user, all thoguh he is from another dimension.
Belome- Feeds off of people, spits them out, and creates duplitcates
Wizpig- A powerful magic user, he also has some strong space ships on his side. He is capable of transforming people into frogs, but he might be able to choose whatever he wants.
All above people are either dead, trapped, or from another galaxy, or an old game.
Also since your not including strong items: Then The Mario Univerese can counter any beings that can alter reality.
Only people worth noting that you haven’t mentioned are and are allowed are:
Natashia- Mind control anyone, and can teleport
Cortez- Undead, can’t be killed, and can kill by absorbing souls on a big scale
Geno- Powerful Magic user
Mallow- Can control the weather
Jaydes- Queen of Underwhere (Video game Hell)
Grambi- King of Overthere (Video game heaven)
King Boo- Can trap people in paintings
Doopliss- He is a ghost and can transform other people into pigs even from a long distance. He can change his body, but he can also steal someone elses body, and leave them as just a weak shadow.
X-Nauts an advanced group, that can build powerful AI, and create strong potions to aid themselves in battle. They can use teleport pads to zoom from Earth to the Moon in an instant.
Also, Bowser could use his Magical Secpter. It can transform people into monsters, such as goombas. Another Wand he had in a comic, was capable of turning people into stone. This Wand is extremlty powerful, it is capable of turning the very word people spoke into stone. The onlt way shown to break out of the stone prison, was to get a master of massaging to break you out, which would still take a week.
Geez, I’m done, Oh and also. The Mario universe probably has a modern day level of technology, as seen many times in Mario Party.
That’s all you really need to know EB, you can base it off that. Although I still haven’t played many Mario games, so I might be missing a few powerful guys.
EDIT: However the top list of characters can’t be included because of the rules :P.
