To prove my point, I have a DivX movie on my flash drive, the PS3 can’t read the format, my 360 and PC can.

Well my PS3 plays about 95% of all my Divx/Avi movies. Thats cos it’s certified as a DivX player. The 360 is’nt certified. It has a very limited support of Divx/Avi files.

You are partially right, neither is completely certified. Some files only work on the 360 and some only work on the PS3. However, the 360 has more certified. Last I checked.

I honestly was not expecting the PS3 to be in first place.

that Wii is teh door to many new developers? who have no experience and that they could eventually give us many new franchises?

Wrong PS3 is DivX certified, 360 not. Means PS3 has the full DivX functionality and you can also store the videos on HDD.

What are you talking about? I think the exact same way CPO thinks. If the 360 hardware was more reliable, then it would be the ultimate machine. It isn’t nearly as reliable as the others but I still think it is by far 'the' gaming machine to go with. It’s got all the best games with the highest quality. I just don’t see it winning this generation and I believe that the RROD is more common than some people think on this forum. I’ve had 3 xbox 360’s brake on me, am I not allowed to be a little bitter?

u r kidding right? ur “logic” can easily be applied to teh PS2, it holding this gen back,
Wii has opened teh doors to new kinds of gameplay i.e. motion sensing, doesn’t matter wat, new companies or teh Big 3 think of, they know that sometimes it’s good to take risks when it comes to gaming, expanding even more teh audience teh PS2 widened and opening teh doors to new developers, which in teh future they could give us top notch games...
I’m not saying Wii is the best, but it has certainly helped a lot this gen, just like teh PS3 by opening a door to gaming storage, and teh 360 pushing gaming into teh online frontier...

teh next time u think about a console doing nothing for a certain gen, think twice before u speak...

More or less, the more you pay, the better the graphics seem, right? Well, I believe that Blu-Ray has a 70% backing from film makers, such as Warner Bros, and other large Hollywood names. Blue-Ray cost the same as a Hd DVD as well. The PS3 game arsenal is week at the moment, but if they had as much success with the PS2, wouldn’t you believe that the PS3(once it comes down in price) will have just as much success or more? But for $400 you can’t play PS2 games(the 60 & 80 gb only, which cost $500!!!), and only SOME games are compatible, not impressive, Blu-Ray or not.I give it a 3.5/5-because of the compatibility issue and HIGH price.
The 360 has had numerous problems due to its complexity, if fixed, it is a very good console for a good price...also has tons of games. I give it 4/5- because of problems.
The Wii, the joy stick thing they came out with is not impressive, not realistic either. Plus, not real game support yet? I give it 2.5/5 Because of no games, unrealistic nun chucks, low-end graphics.

How do you make a second id for ps3? I want to make another id on the same user.
