Looks great. Not sure if it will surpass Sunshine though, the most underrated game of all time.
I don’t know if it was underrated. I mean, most Mario’s take the series to a whole new level. This game was just Mario 64 with a water pack, pretty graphics, and a bit more agility. It wasn’t anything major over Mario 64, so its reasonable that it would lose a few points based on usual expectations. Nonetheless, an amazing game, but in no way revolutionary, as Galaxy seems to be becoming.

True, Galaxy is revolutionary how you walk upside down and what not. I just thought Sunshine’s levels were ridiculously good in how they were set up and the longevity in the game. I still never collected all 120 shine sprites cause i can’t find all the blue coins. I’d play for hours just doing nothing, it truly was an amazing game.

Definetly agreed. That game I thought was great.
I loved Mario Sunshine!! It pissed me off how reviews and rating about it were so bad when in reality everyone I knew who had it thought it was so fun... which it was!!!

Reviews weren’t bad, they were about 8.5’s when it should of at least been a 9.0+
I would greatly disagree. On one account is that the game is rated very high. From Metacritic, the average is 92%, with Super Mario 64 being only 2% higher. That’s damn good.
Sure, it used a good engine of gameplay, but it felt so much like Mario 64 that I would’ve rather just played that one, and in fact, Mario 64 still feels more fresh and enjoyable than Sunshine ever did.
In the case of Mario, I would, as would many other Nintendo fans, prefer innovation over rehashing, even though I still admit it to be an awesome game, but it could’ve been so much more, especially in the midst of a overshadowed system. Knowing Miyamoto and Mario, he wouldn’t screw it up.
