I’m looking for a cheap but efficient surround sound system, but Im not really sure where to start. My budget is about $300. Any suggestions?

You can get a good SS system for that money, just look around. I’m not sure exactly where to look, but your best bet is buying a top quality used one from craigs list or something.

Well fuck it then. I was hoping I could get soemthing good for $300, but if most of the systems in that price range suck then screw it.

New ones won’t get you anything good for a few hundred. Try craigs list . Someone may have a nice used one they’re trying to unload for cheap.
