So I’ve been wondering does anyone know anything about the Elder Scrolls V game? All I know is that it is in production and that it wont come out any time soon, but that is all I know. Anybody else know anything other than what I know??

Well I can pretty much confirm it’s not on this generation of consoles.
It’s believed to be set in SkyRim, North of Oblivion and West of Morrowind. You either play as Lord Nerevar or a new character.
If you play as Nerevar, you go to SkyRim to resolve rebellion and to stop a civil war.
If you play as a new character, you can be a general of the rebellion or follow the Legion.
It will be using a new engine built from the ground up, for long draw distance, 60FPS, and allowing tons of enemies on screen at once. As the final battle, if you choose to lead your army to war, will have hundreds of people in a fight.
I just hope it’s a bit more Morrowind than Oblivion in it’s world and exploration. I mean, Oblivion was great and everything, but Cyrodil was such a dull repetitive place compared to Morrowind. Not to mention it felt so much smaller and the treasure system made it so there was no real inentie to explore. I remember finding my way into the bones/spine/etc caves while still sub level ten and finding it a terrifying corprus ridden nightmare, that was awesome, but in Oblivion it would’ve just been full of rats. Plus the Nerevarine prophecies gave so much more of a personal feeling of purpose than just 'Oh no, I really ought to protect the world'
Plus the armour and possible combination of was much better.
Anyway, this wasn’t meant to be a Morrowind vs Oblivion message, I just kinda went off on one. The idea of playing as Lord Nerevar again is definitely pretty cool.

Dude, Cyrodiil was much, much bigger than Morrowind. Not to mention the Shivering Isles.

I was hoping for somthing set in the Woodelf home lands (best race by far) but Nords are good too.

I really couldn’t agree with you more. I remember in Morrowind I’d travel to this one ruin early on in the game with nothing but a stolen silver dagger and killing everything inside to obtain complete sets of Ebony and Glass armor early on. Since my strength was so low at the time, I’d literately have to carry the ebony one piece at a time. haha
I think it would be cool if they kept in the spirit of 4 and 3 but added aspects like Second Life. Think about it, build, live, make money in a TES world. MMO? Style
