Like reviews even matter, if IGN says it was one of those incredible games, I bet they would give it a 9.5, they have been giving basiclly every major game that score since 2006, Zelda TP got it, MP3 got it, Halo 3, COD4, the Orange Box, SSBB, many of them have gotten that score.
Yet I am guessing it would be average to about 8.0 to 9.0 only because the theme is not new but only for controls, customization, and really being the first FPS for the wii that does online play well, (if it all works out that is).
well they did mention that the FCs were dissmissed for this game even though they still use them, so like Xbox live, once you play with someone or enter their FC, you can add them to your friends list and do a viral effect, after they are added, they can see your list and you can see theirs and just keep requesting to have more friends. Plus you really need to see how wii-speak works in this case since it is not a headset and how other players or teammates need to be close in order for you to hear them.

How the hell did SSBB and MP3 get 9s?
Because they are awesome. How the hell did the first Gears of War got 9s is something I’ll never understand. I guess people were either paid off to think this average game really was the best new thing or after Gears 2 proved that too them they were too much of a chicken shit to actually change it.
Anyways, 7s and 8s is what I expect for this game. Considering the general bias towards anything Wii with the gaming media and it being an average shooter, those are the scores it will probably get.

This came from Nintendo power. This is probably pretty damn lenient.

Not really. Like all the official magazines (NP, OPM, OXM) they are generally pretty hard on their reviews usually because they get that primitive assumption. Usually their scores average will be much lower than the average from say IGN or Gamespot.

SSBB and MP3 got 9.5s from IGN, I am just saying that these along with all those other mentioned games just seem to get this score and this score alone from IGN. Only games that tended to score higher were ones like Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, and Fallout 3.
Yet SSBB and MP3 got 9.5s because well, they are good games. SSBB is a very fun multiplayer game and always a nice choice. MP3 was a nice ending to the prime trilogy, has nice controls, gameplay and graphics.
IGN.com gave The Conduit an 8.6 (Great)... they went on to say that it brings nothing new to the genre, except for the totally customizable interface, but still a great game and can’t wait til tomorrow to pick it up!
Yea but it seems like it is going to be mixed reviews all around. Gamepro gave it a 70 while 1UP is saying it’s mediocre range as well. So, like most big Wii games, you either love it or don’t get it.
