The future of the playstation

Here is what Sony fanboys have to look forward to in 2008.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released. It will score below average.
Metal Gear Solid 4 will be announced to be a timed exclusive, and will ported to Xbox 360 by July.
The 360 port of Metal Gear Solid 4 will contain DLC, and extra features not found in the PS3 version.
It will be ridden with bugs, and have a manditory 10GB install.
Gran Turismo 5 will be delayed further, an the price of GT5: Prologue will raise.
PSPs will be replaced by the PSP phone. In order to get a new PSP, you have to sign up for a 5 contract and pay monthly bills.
Sony will be sued by the Rothschild family for using their patented blue laser technology.
The PlayStation line will be canceled in order to avoid Sony as a while going bankrupt and dying.

First off I’ll address the fact that MGS4, while scoring below average is very possible and the port is definately on the horizon, will not be even close to the reason for the demise of the PS3.
Secodly, GT5 has already been delayed and they have announced the delay, so you are an idiot for posting that to begin with.
Thirdly, the PSP Slim can use skype which means that it is doubtful they will discontinue a “brand new” version of a psuedo-popular product.
Lastly, I’m pretty sure that sony has some above average lawyers to contest the lawsuit with the Rothschild family, so no this will not be the last year of sony.

mgs4 will get a 9.4-9.7. even if solid snake has trouser snake in his mouth the whole time, critics would be to scared to give it a low score.

Yeah, game critics do that a lot. Like Halo 3 shouldn’t have been over an 8.5. But MGS4 will probably be worth at least a 9.0 or something, but it’ll most likely score around 9.5 on all the major sites.

Whether MGS4 sucks or not, the chances of me stopping FF are similar to the chances of Nervin admitting that FF is better than ES. In other words, impossible.

I was real dissapointed with halo 3’s online. loved the campaign, but they fucked the mulyiplayer. it was so frustrating i stoped playing for a while.
